Hello Peops, need a little of your wisdom and knowledge on this one, I think I let myself get carried away with the excitement of the results.
Background:
- Started a Lead Objective campaign on July 19th
- Used Ad Set Budget Optimization (ABO) at €8/day per ad set
- 2 ad sets, 1 ad creative each, shared Facebook Lead form
- Specific audience targeting
Actions Taken:
- After 4 days:7 leads obtained (5 from one ad)Turned off underperforming ad and its ad set
- Duplicated winning ad in the existing ADSET of the WINNING AD, adding a creative.
- Switched to CBO with the single ADSET containing 2 ADCREATIVES at €16/day, ran for 3 days with no leads. Previously Winning ad got all the spend, new ad underperformed. (It did give me a clearer picture of which type of creative resonated more with the customers.)
- Switched OFF completely the Campaign as I was not getting any leads so I wanted to start fresh. 😱
- Created new campaign with ABO (€8/day per ad set) 2 ad sets, 1 creative each, broadened audience targeting
Current Situation:
- Waiting for ad review
- Facebook warning about potential lack of leads at ADSET Level on the new Ad Sets.
Key Questions:
- Did these frequent changes negatively impact the algorithm's learning process?
- If so how can I restabilize it?
- Is switching between ABO and CBO advisable? If so, how often?
- Should I just allow it to run now, for at least a week?
- Given the current setup, what steps should I take to optimize performance and avoid wasting budget?
I feel I have tipped over the FB algorithm a little I certainly was being impatient but I am hoping someone can guide me out of this mess or help me improve the current situation. As always thank you soo much 🙏.
