Theresa Lang (who I hope will be here in Worth Waker shortly) shared a great post yesterday in 's great group about the concept of doing vs. being, where she demonstrated through an example of wanting to go on a walk first thing in the morning and the struggle that comes with staying consistent, how she went on to become her own pattern interruptor to ask herself who she wanted to be that led her to taking the morning walk straightaway rather than delay it. It reminded me of a video I recorded that's part of the Activated component of the Illuminator (if you don't know what I mean by Illuminator or Activated, watch The Primer in the classroom tab) that talked about this subject, and identifying the being-orientated solution rather than just be fixated with the doing, which is what the video shows.
