We all know people who aren't as smart as us, who are more "successful" than we feel we are. What's their secret? Most of the time, it's simply because they take action while we're still trying to make a decision.
Here are some "action steps" you can take immediately to get you started on your path to success, whatever that means to you.
The first step in getting from where you are to where you want to be, is putting yourself there, not just mentally, but physically.
Want a new car - go drive one and talk to the salesperson.
Want a new house - go pick it out and have an agent show it to you.
Want to make more money - hang out with people that make more than you. How?
When you finish your work and you're ready for a cocktail, instead of going to your usual bar/lounge, go to the Marriot or Hilton. Yes, the drink will cost you a couple of bucks more but it will be worth it.
Eavesdrop on the conversations and listen for the difference in the way people think. Doesn't matter what business they're in, they think on a different level than most folks.
Want to do the opposite? (just for fun). Go to the Waffle House at 3 am and listen to the way those people think.
You'll see that it's a chicken and egg thing. Most people say to themselves "I'll believe it when I see it".
Winners say "I'll see it when I believe it".
Put yourself in the environment you desire and let the "magic" of your subconscious put you there permanently .
That's all for today... 🏆
ps
I wrote this back in the spring, but it's always true.
Recently Hormozi did a video that basically said that the amount of success people had was directly related to the speed at which they make decisions. I concur.
