The past few weeks I've seen quite a few articles saying the same thing just like this one.
And I have to agree and here's why.
There's something special about leaves when they break down. They have something called leaf mold which is quite beneficial for the soil and a great food source for fungi. We like adding leaves to our compost pile but if you can add them directly into your soil they will feed the microbes and it's less work then composting them.
