The knowledge is the power not the plugin. The plugin is just another tool in the box with a GUI and knobs and buttons. It knows nothing. It's up to the person using it to make it do what it does in a way that's pleasing to the ear and results in something that is cohesive with the rest of the tracks in the mix. Think about it this way. A hammer is a tool in the box. All it does is sit there until called upon for a specific task. The master craftsman needs to fasten one piece of wood to another. He chooses to use the hammer and some nails. He then places the nail carefully to ensure proper alignment so that maximum hold will happen between the two boards. Then starts with light taps to get it started and then drives the nail home. Does the hammer do the work? The answer is yes but not without the guidance and perfect aim of the master craftsman swinging it. When he's done, the two boards become one and the task is finished. The moral of this story is that without the knowledge of how the hammer works, the hammer just sits in the box being useless weight. Well I hope I've got my point across. What are your thoughts on this? Hope this helps. 🤠
