Metaphysics, spirituality, human consciousness and the science of the Mind

There is a definite science of the mind just like how there is a science of thermodynamics, magnetism, electricity, etc.

There are some basic criteria that are considered appropriate when proposing a scientific theory such as:

It is impersonal. e.g the person operating an electric appliance will observe the same effects as another person.
Repeatability. e.g the laws of thermodynamics work just the same as in the UK as they do in the USA, Australia, etc. They also are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The science of the mind also follows such criteria that deem it to be a scientific theory.
