On the second block of tutorials "Alchemy Codex" Dave speaks about installing Anaconda to start coding in Python, but then he talks about using Visual Studio Code, an IDE, to write and run code.
My question is: are those two programs used for the same thing? What's the difference between them and why is it good to use both programs? I feel I'm missing something, so I'm going to rewatch the videos but let me ask this.
Thank you in advance.
