This surprises many people, but one of the things that has worked best for me and my clients is limiting how much work you do in a day.
So in this post I’m giving away how reducing my work hours TRIPLED my productivity so you can save more time and make more money.
With that out of the way…
You’re surely familiar with the 80/20 rule.
This has been applied to dating, the gym, practically ANYTHING.
I’ve applied it to productivity as well,
In that 20% of your tasks gets 80% of your results.
With that being said,
You can work 10 hours a day on your business and do all these different things,
That’s great and all,
But is the extra 20% of work worth the extra 8 hours?
“But I didn’t get all my work done.”
And?
After 80% of your work is done you’re left with only small tasks.
Those can wait and can be a “warmup” task for the next day.
Besides,
With that extra rest you allow yourself,
You’ll be able to work even more efficiently the next day.
So there you go.
That’s my system to achieve real productivity.
So next time you’re working deep into the night, just remember…
By that point, you’ve done enough.
