This technique boosted my viewer retention:
I’ll be straight to the point.
After implementing this, my viewer retention significantly improved, getting my videos way more reach and more watch time.
This is the technique:
Speech variation.
Varying with your speech has been scientifically proven to keep the receivers
dopamine receptor stimulated.
Here is a nice analogy to learn speech variation:
The “4 vocal swords.”
1 - Tonality
Your facial expressions, and the emotion you speak with.
2 - Volume
How loud you’re speaking.
3 - Speed
How fast you’re speaking.
4 - Pitch
How light and deep your pitch is.
Vary between these 4 swords and you will have perfected speech variation.
