I can tell within 1 minute of speaking to someone on Zoom if they have what it takes to succeed as an online course creator or coach. How? Their persona. It doesn’t lie. Can you change your persona if the current one you have sucks? YES! Absolutely. But let’s start with this question: What’s your current persona? Secondly, let’s ask: What’s your ideal persona? Your persona is your character. If you want to make money online as a coach, you must have a likeable persona. You have to be good on camera. You need to have the gift of the gab. For some people this comes naturally, and for others, they must practice embodying it. This is a skill that can be practiced and quickly learned. Watch this to learn more about why “being yourself is a lie”. Your favourite movies and TV shows are your favourite and easy to watch for you because you resonate with the main character. Just like Norma Jean had her Marilyn Monroe persona that she chose to embody, you too can choose a persona to portray online. Who will you be? One easy way to build your persona is to think about all the unique things about yourself, and then intentionally combine them. For example, I've mixed my online business trainings with being a fruitarian, having a 6 pack, putting all my money into Bitcoin, and using the law of attraction to get results faster.
