It might not work you...
I see a lot of people copy the things successful people do/ did to get there.
You should learn from them, but to blindly follow them is stupidity.
There are a lot of factors in the equation. It worked for them, that doesn't mean it will work for you too.
I think, the best way to learn something is by doing it. Yes, you can take guidance from people who are 2 steps ahead and try it out. If it works, great! But don't count on it. There's a possibility it might not work.
Every time I learned something from a book/video I thought if this is how they did it, I'll do it too. It'll work for me as well. And when every time it didn't, I got demotivated. Then, I just didn't feel like trying. Which slowed me down.
Here's what I do now. I learn the basics but I like to discover the nuances myself.
For example, I learn from Alex Hormozi that I'm supposed to make 100 cold calls everyday and I'll do it. But, I won't copy his opener. I'll create my own and test it, until something works.
This way I don't feel demotivated. Instead, it becomes a fun game 🙂
