Hey everyone! πββοΈπββοΈ
I've been on a transformative journey with my clients, gradually increasing my fees as I land new projects. Each time I quote a higher rate, I experience a whirlwind of emotions - a mix of anxiety and excitement. πͺοΈπ° The freeze response is reaaaaal...!
It's like I'm on the edge of a new identity, one where I fully embrace the value of my work. Yet, those old limiting beliefs sometimes creep in, trying to hold me back. π¬π
I keep remembering Ted's wise words, "Once you ask for a certain amount, someone else is willing to pay more for the same problem being solved." I'm probably paraphrasing here, but I'm pretty sure he said it somewhere. Itβs a reminder that our value isn't just in what we do, but how we perceive and project our worth. π‘πͺ
I'm now stepping into a space where my potential client will be investing over $3K to work with me. It's both exhilarating and anxiety provoking. ππΌ
Here's my question to you all: How do you deal with those inner thoughts and feelings when a client is ready to pay you more than you've ever received before? How do you manage that 'freeze' response and align your identity with your evolving professional worth? π€π¬
Let's talk about growth, value, and overcoming those mental hurdles. Your stories and advice are welcome. π€π¬
I'm here for all the growth I can GETTTT.
