Discipline or Consistency?
I frequently hear people say that it's most important for you to be 'disciplined' in order to improve and find success. But, in my mind, being disciplined really just means you're consistent. It means that you work when you don't want to -- that you repeat the same activity day in and day out.
I wonder what your guys' thoughts are on this. Do you tell yourself to stay 'disciplined', or to stay 'consistent'?
I think both can work, but in my opinion, it's easier to tell myself to stay consistent, since it's a more actionable word - it's easy to digest. I know exactly what I need to do to be consistent - do the same thing over and over again.
How do you guys stay consistent?
