Do you know what we’ve noticed over the last 10+ years of creating YouTube channel, after YouTube channel?
There is a ‘metric’ that seems like a ticket to the ‘YouTube success club’ that we’ve never seen anyone talk about and creators can overlook.
Is it VIEWS?
Is it LIKES?
Is it SUBSCRIBERS?
Nope.
It’s the COMMENTS.
One SPECIFIC comment in fact...
“THIS CHANNEL IS UNDERRATED”
If you see that, you’re in business….
Now why would someone say this in the first place and why do we think it’s important?
1: Someone thinks your channel is on par with channels that are already well established and popular because your production, channel idea, video idea etc is excellent.
2: They feel like they’re EARLY to what they believe will be a big channel in the future and want to be a part of that.
And both those things are REALLY strong reasons to believe your channel is onto something.
Now, if you’re not seeing this on your channel after 50+ videos, does it mean your channel isn’t going anywhere? Of course not.
But if you DO see it, it seems to be a pretty sure given, that your channel is going to break through…
(note: this doesn’t apply to shorts as they have less/different comment engagement)
