The Playbook For $20k+ MRR Skool Communities
don't overcomplicate things or get it twisted
the playbook for getting to $20k+ MRR with your skool community is πŸ‘‡
  • clear cut
  • straightforward
  • simple
it's basic math
# visitors + conversion % = MRR (variable is price point)
and it begins with reverse engineering your success
completing this step helps you SEE your own path
and when you SEE your own path clearly, success is inevitable
because you can see your current constraint easily, and work to solve it
this is what I mean ...
THE GOAL is $20k MRR
you run a simple free + paid skool community funnel
you drive people to your free community, then use calls to ascend members to your paid community
your paid community is $100/mo
so you need 200 members to reach $20k MRR
let's say your close rate on ascending members is 10%
that means you need 2,000 free members
cool, that's the first goal
so now, you need to look at:
(a) your free community about page conversion rate
(b) your traffic volume
the current "average conversion rate" for free communities is 18%
we'll use 15% to keep things easy
to get 2,000 members in your free community you need ~ 13,333 people to visit your about page
bump up the conversion rate, and you need less
simple, basic math
from here, you turn your attention to your traffic sources
ONE AVATAR. ONE CHANNEL
that's how you ATTRACT more people
you collapse time by either increasing time + energy or adding money (running ads)
until you have a consistent flow of traffic to your free skool about page each day, nothing else matters
IT'S THE ONLY THING!!
optimise your traffic sources as best as you can
  • do more
  • double down on what works
  • make your traffic sources better
if you get to a point where you're consistently see 500 visitors every 3 days, in 78 days you'll have had 13,000 visitors
... and at this 500 visitor mark, you can start analysing your conversion rate and optimising it
if it's low, check the analytics on your VSL first
look at the watch time of people and where they drop off
  • if people are dropping off early - optimise your hook - you need to get people to watch
  • if people are dropping off mid VSL - look to shorten it - they're not getting the value they need to watch and be hit with your offer
  • if people are watching and not joining - optimise how you package your pitch
once that's done, look at your images and description and make sure they're doing this one thing πŸ‘‡
visually representing the EXPERIENCE and TRANSFORMATION your community offers
people don't care about the features of your community and what they get
they want to know the OUTCOME that's in it for them
your images and description should clearly visualise
(a) WHO IT'S FOR (and who it's not for)
(b) what they'll experience
(c) the outcome they'll achieve being in your group
(d) how quick, easy, and simple you make achieving that outcome
when you've done that, the game becomes easy
you look at the data and decide:
  • do I need more traffic
  • do I need better free page conversion rates
  • do I need better paid ascension conversion rates
... then, you just rinse and repeat optimising each step
don't overcomplicate it, it's simple
the challenge is being persistent, trusting the process and doing the actual work
nobody knows how long it'll take, and that's the hardest part
you've got to find what works for you in the beginning ...
... this means gaining traction and OVERCOMING INERTIA to gain momentum
the good news is once your overcome the initial inertia, compounding happens and things speed up
your ability to stick out this initial period determines your success
it's why Hormozi always says it's those that stick around the longest that win
it's easy to quit before your tipping point is hit - so don't ... it's that simple
solve your traffic problem first
your skool communities success depends on it
hope you found this educational breakdown valuable
