If you haven't seen the feature to "pin" your threads inside courses you should check it out.
It's really cool for boosting engagement and helping to make sure people come across your most important content when they are busy or distracted.
I'm using it in 2 (soon to be 3) specific places listed below.
- Linking the introduction thread into my intro course that shows you around the community
- Linking an accountability post within the courses where I encourage members to find an accountability partner
- Linking our mission and vision inside the About section of our introduction course
