Low number of options you can legally work with
There are only 394 Child Services Permit holders total that you are LEGALLY allowed to work with if you live in California or hold a California Work Permit. This includes all: Talent Managers Acting Coaches Headshot Photographers Videographers Vocal Coaches Dance Instructors Public Relations Career Consultants Performance Camp Instructors, etc. Clearly there are hundreds of service providers to minors who are non-compliant. Parents do your due diligence! https://cadir.my.salesforce-sites.com/RegistrationCPSsearch

Coogans and work permits
So I’m trying to get a California permit and a New York permit and open up a Coogan account. And I have some questions. We live in Georgia, so would me opening up a Coogan account in Georgia count for a job in let’s say LA? Or do I need to open up a Coogan account in LA? Also on work permits, we homeschool. How do we get a work permit in LA/New York if we homeschool? We are not tied to any school district because Georgia does not have us reporting to anyone. The only thing we do is we register every year that we will be homeschooling said children. The school district does not know anything about my homeschooling whatsoever so how could they sign off on anything?

Local Hires
We're adding a small selection of states we are willing to work as local hires in to my son's resume. I just want to be clear that when we list that, we are stating that we will self-report with no expectation of travel reimbursement or lodging, but aren't stating anything else besides that. Also, where is the best place to list that? Under special skills?
