Creating connections between groups in shader editor
Hi everyone! I wanted to share something I found out, I don’t know if it’s actually a well known thing or not, but it took me a few days to find this out. If you want to create connections between node groups in the shader editor you actually need to check the names of the input and output node, so you have to go inside the groups and select one of these two nodes, then in the sidebar you go on the “node” tab and from there you change the name of the node in “*group name* input” (or output). This fixed the issue for me, and now I am able to change the connection between nodes with an enum property in a UI panel. If you need the code to make this enum change connections thing let me know and I will share it. Have a good day :)
