Local SEO Site Structure Question
Hi Caleb, this is work for an established client that ranks very well for their main location (although the GBP isn't optimised how it should be, if they rank well I don't see any need to change it, right?) We are adding (or have added) two new locations. (Just before this course came out)
The question/s I have are:-
1) I have researched the competitors for GMB categories, we have competitors using:
Primary:-
Cosmetic Surgeon (Page Created)
Secondary:-
Plastic Surgeon (No Page Created)
Surgeon (No Page Created)
Medical Group (No Page Created)
Clinic (No Page Created)
Private Hospital (No Page Created)
Plastic Surgery Clinic (No Page Created)
The services we want to rank for are:- (Page created and ranked 1st page organically for local search)
Breast Enlargement
Breast Augmentation
Tummy Tuck
Mummy Makeover
Liposuction
Breast Lift
(No page yet)
Vaser Liposuction
Breast Reduction
Belt Tummy Tuck
At the moment I added all services under the main category, because they are most relevant to cosmetic surgery.
i) Should I reconsider the site structure to include and spread out the services under a few categories?
ii) Do the category pages have to be in the main navigation of the site? Or can we just link internally within the written content.
iii) With the site structure linking - Eg Location Page 2 will link to GBP Cat 1, 2 & 3 - do we have to add links between Cat 1 page & Cat 2 page and Cat 2 page to Cat 3 page then Cat 3 to Cat 1 - like a closed look of linking?
Same question for Cat Pages to Services regarding linking.
I really sorry, that's alot to ask. But this is the point I'm at and the uncertainties I have atm.
Thanks so much!
