SEO Competition
Hey everyone, just had a call with a prospect who is honestly doing a lot right but he's pretty set on working with a service called White Label SEO. He says it'll be $389/mo. I'm looking at their site and they seem to offer a lot but anyone know of good alternatives that could make me competitive? I mentioned using Brightlocal earlier but need to dig deeper into how it goes up against White Label Thanks!

Changing a business number
If I were to get a client a new phone number from GoHighLevel and replace their existing number on their GBP, how would I be able to go about this without effecting their ranking? A while back I was told that I could add the GHL number in as the main one, and leave their other one as the secondary number. I wasn't aware it was possible to have 2 numbers on a GBP. Aside from just their GBP, the idea would probably be to update their number to the GHL one across their site, social media, etc

Thoughts on a few tools
Hi everyone - first post here! I was wondering what your thoughts are on BrightLocal. I see they offer something like Yext does where it lists the customer on multiple platforms like Bing, Yahoo, Apple Maps, etc etc. BrightLocal to me seems well priced and effective based on what I see in the packages they offer. I'm hoping to get this client and offer SEO. He mentioned he wants "map ranking" and since talking to him I've been trying to learn as much as possible. Any insights would be appreciated!

SEO Myth Busted: Just Tested This Common 'Best Practice'...
Alright, let's talk about exact match anchor text. You know, that "best practice" where you're supposed to use your target keyword exactly in your internal links? At my agency, we just ran a 60-day test across 12 client sites and the results surprised me: Varied anchor text actually outperformed exact match by 23% in ranking improvements. For example: Instead of: "check our [chicago plumber] services" We used: "our local team can help with your [plumbing needs]" Natural language won. Every. Single. Time. 🎯 Here's the thing: Those old-school exact match rules came from an era when Google was less sophisticated. Now? It wants things to sound human. Especially with AI generated slop flooding the internet... Google is trying to sort through all of that slop to find content that its users will actually engage with. Sounding human wins. What "best practices" have you tested and debunked? Drop them below 👇 Let's build a list of what actually works in this new AI-driven world we live in!

Map Pack gets triggered, but its too low on the SERP?
I have noticed this sometimes with some terms For example if I type "Insulation", the map pack appears quite low on the SERP Yet if I type "Insulation Austin", the map pack appears very close to the top -Is it still worth it to go after keywords that trigger the map pack low on the SERP? -Any other thoughts from an SEO Perspective on such Keywords?
