Got banned arbitrary from reddit subs speaking of my app...
Hi everyone, here is a story that might interest some of you. Few time ago I join a reddit community that is linked to one of my app niche. I spend time asking people about their experience, sharing some posts about this hobbie (which is also one of mine), and of course saying from time to time in my posts "by the way guys I publish an app that helps to to this and that for our common passion". It was clearly everything but spam ! And I got Perma banned from this community with no ability to share anymore there. I found this particularly unfair and like it was "little power abuse" from the mod who did this behind its computer. Here is the explanation I had from one of the mod "I think you got banned because the intent of this place is a but altruistic. Folks with a hobby helping each other and sharing experience" == my feeling : - This app makes no money for now so it's as altruistic as it could be regarding the time I am spending on it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ - It's my hobby and by trying to put a nice app for this community I am contributing to it with one of my talent (asking few bucks for this doesn't remove my nice intent) - And dammed my post were sharing some nice experience of mine, not only linked to my app on this community ! Being treated like we would be uge corporation with "evil marketing strategies" is so caricatural and completely mistaken from this kind of guys. Most of us are just nice buddies trying to do something nice for something we love. And let's be honest @Aivars Meijers manage to make nice income with his apps๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ but most of us are just gathering few bucks from that. At least from my side I am not Google ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ What does this story inspire you ? Have you ever experienced something similar? And please guys take my side ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Cheers to you all !

Medium : How does it work ?
Hi everyone ! I am wondering if some of you are active publishers on Medium. I read things from time to time on it, but I never deep dive in it. So if there are some experts here (or some active learner) I would be glad to have your insights. How does it work ? Do you know the algorithms tricks ? Cheers ๐Ÿ˜‰

Feeling stuck...
Hello everyone, I hope youโ€™re having a productive evening. Iโ€™m writing this post because I feel stuck. Over the past couple of months, Iโ€™ve launched two apps and a blog. Recently, Iโ€™ve started to feel like Iโ€™m not making progress. Hereโ€™s my plan: Short-term goals: โ€ข โš ๏ธ Publish another app (the first one with a paywall, not yet in progress) โ€ข Try new strategies for ASO (in progress) โ€ข Add app rating nudges โ€ข Add new, interesting features (where I learn a new skill, like implementing notifications, which can be reused in future apps - in progress) โ€ข Document everything and build in public on my blog (in progress) Blockers: โ€ข Iโ€™m unsure what app to build next or whether to monetize one of my existing apps (I donโ€™t think my current apps are monetizable) โ€ข I struggle with idea capture in my notesโ€”nothing particularly interesting has come up so farโ€ฆ

A feeling shared by mostly everyone of us I suppose ๐Ÿ˜‰ I read somewhere that "things will never be as clear as you wish they would". So keep going, try to do something with what you have now, and may be nice stuffs will come out :D I am struggling with that to ! Cheers !
100 days of content challenge
I'm starting 100 day challenge for content creation. Challenge is dumb simple, but hard. I already did it for a few weeks in October. Now I will push it to 100 days. So, here it is: Spend 100 minutes per day working on the content, do that for 100 days in a row. I wrote how to start in newsletter. In short, Start with comments, when you are ready spend 100 minutes per day creating content. 100 minutes per day should be enough to create One of those: - 1 Short form video - 1 Thread on X (Twitter) - Linkedin post - Redit Post Long form videos on YouTube are tricky. It's hardly posible to publish good daily YouTube video and still keep doing anything else. Do not become daily vloger, 1 video per week is enough. With 100 minutes per day it is possible to publish weekly video and still have spare time for posts on Twitter, Instagram or any other platform of the choice. This is what I will do for the next 100 days. Whish me a luck :) Are you in as well?

Funny to see this today :) I started something similar this week end. So we will travel together (At least for the challenge, because you're far ahead of me regarding content creation and audience size ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚)
Design Automation
Hi, can anyone suggest some tool for automating app related design? Like app icons, screenshot, onboarding flow creatives etc? I want to know which have you tried and how is the result? Also if you can share some pros and cons that would be great. Thanks.

I heard about fastlane which helps to publish faster. I think it can help in order to automate the screenshots creation process and then publication. I don't know exactly what it does, but I kind of agree with @Marko Dr, you probably want to spend a bit of time on Figma to integrate them properly in a nice marketing creation.
