I don't know how many of you grew up watching X-Men the Animated Series, but I am a huge fan. I grew up watching a dubbed version when I was laid up last year with my femur. I watched the whole series on Disney Plus in English. So today, I went to a X-men 97 Q&A Panel and Asked 2 questions. My first was in this new season. Will we see ramps in the Xmen mansion? It seems weird a millionaire wheelchair user hasn't made his home accessible. At the end of the panel, I asked if they would avoid the ableist storylines in previous iterations where Professor X regains the use of his legs at the loss of his abilities? The cast was so welcoming and receptive that they thanked me for my questions and invited me on stage; the stage wasn't accessible, so the new Professor X, Ross Marquand got down with me for the cast picture! But the entire panel was lovely. Just out of frame, I am talking to Mr. Sinister, voiced by the incomparable Chris Britton. On stage next to me is Night Crawler actor and accent aficionado Adrian Hough, and to my right is Ross, just a wonderful person, and to his right is the sultry Rogue voiced by the magnificent Lenore Zann. They were all amazing and so very kind to me.

Don't let comparison take away from your achievements!
I took this photo ~1 month before my injury. I was: Deadlifting 200kg (440lb) Squatting 180kg (400lb) Benching 120kg (265lb) I felt small, weak and wasn't real impressed with my numbers. I really struggle to appreciate my own progress, even now. Anything I do, I compare myself to the best of the best, inevitably leading to disappointment with my current situation. Recently I've been getting better at realising how much work has been done by those at the top. I'm learning to appreciate the journey instead of glorifying the outcome.

So true! My biggest challenge is comparing myself before and after.
Favourite Cardio?
What do you guys enjoy doing for cardio? I definitely prefer being out in the sun for mine, just pushing normally. I get too bored indoors ๐Ÿ˜…
