How to collect emails before your customers buy your book on Amazon
I'm looking for feedback. Can you help me test something? I'm working on something that I'm calling a Free Book Page. I made a couple sample pages. Can you try them and let me know what you think? 1 - Evergreen Affiliate Marketing by @Nate McCallister : https://freebook.page/eam 2 - Rise of the Reader by @Nick Hutchison : https://freebook.page/rotr These are just test sites right now; they don't have Kindle ebooks attached yet. What is the purpose of these sites? Well, most customers would prefer to buy books directly on Amazon. But as an author, I want to collect their contact information. So before sending them to Amazon, I want to offer them a digital item like the ebook, PDF, sample chapter, or bonus chapter in exchange for their email. Then, send them directly to Amazon to buy the book. Make sense? If you're already an author, would you be interested in a landing page like these? Setting these pages up isn't difficult, but it's a lot of steps for a new author. Thanks for the help and feedback! Chris Green Skool Admin

Hmmm
How this one weird romance book made me $64k at 22…
I still remember the day that book launched. It was September 26, 2023… And I felt the earth shifting beneath my feet. I refreshed my Amazon page. I couldn’t believe my eyes, I was nervous. My book had just hit top 1,000 in the entire Kindle Store. But it didn’t stop there. Next week, it hit the top 500. Then it hit the top 300. And it just kept climbing up the ranks… Until my book hit #162 in the Kindle Store. I jumped up and down on my tiny floor mattress, in the crappy apartment I was living in at the time. Because I knew this was the start of a new chapter. I went from a starving publisher, barely making enough to feed myself… To hitting $16k next month in October… Then $27k in November. As you can see on my KDP dashboard, this one book alone has generated $64k in royalties so far… And it still keeps printing $60 to $80 per day with zero work on my end. That’s like having a rental property paying you $1,800 to $2,400 per month without any work. Amazon KDP changed my life, it can change yours as well. Just believe in the process & keep taking action. Wish you all the best & nothing but success, Mick 🫡

You can optimise by using researching on keywords on your book niche
KDP Select
Hi Everyone, Can you please clarify if I understood the course correctly about KDP Select? - it is free - in return, we give Amazon exclusive sales rights (we agree not to sell outside of Amazon) for the time KDP Select is running - it is only for the digital version of the book (Kindle) Thank you
