Short Story: The Pebble Path
Definition of Wisdom Wisdom is the ability to use knowledge, experience, and good judgment to make thoughtful decisions or give meaningful advice. A young traveler approached an old sage sitting by a rocky trail. "Master," the traveler said, "I need to reach the village, but this path is full of sharp pebbles. My feet hurt terribly. What should I do?" The sage smiled, picked up a small piece of leather, and handed it to the traveler. "Cover your feet with this," he said. The traveler frowned. "Why not just clear the path instead?" The sage chuckled. "You could, but the world has many rocky roads. It’s wiser to protect your feet than try to smooth every trail." The traveler wrapped the leather around his feet and walked away, smiling as the sharp pebbles no longer bothered him. Moral: Wisdom lies in adapting to challenges rather than expecting the world to change for you.
