I noticed that I have been over pouring into my partner vs my own self. Committing to this course was one of the pivotal moments for me to grip the steering wheel with two hands and steer my self back on course. As Iāve been diving in each day, I can say the video homework was a push back outta my comfort zone, this was something I once breezed thru with ease. (I used to create videos daily about a decade ago and that dwindled to zero for years as I was grieving the cyclone that hit my life. Career fall, 80% income cut, loss of a child to cancer & divorce from a 15 yr marriage alllll within the same 2-3 yr time span) yet with this video assignment, I felt myself wanting to prove something to me. That I could still push out a video with a message to deliver. š yay for getting it done. Until I critiqued myself, I was like ok Trisha, we did some word vomit in the beginning, too many words again, all about me and not enough meat and potatoes for the consumer watching. Lol! So thank you for this!! My objective was to get the video done āļø and that was accomplished and now it can only improve from here. On the partner note, Iāve been sharing my enthusiasm of things with this course and my passion has been ignited. So much so that my partner has been expressing how he is ready to dive into teaching classes with me!!! Annnnd he wants to start creating for himself again- he makes his own incense. Heās also a songwriter, singer, guitarist etc and has recently started a reggae band, so we have had some distance while he was putting together a concert and bombarding himself with practice sessions with the band. He is somebody I donāt have to teach, I donāt have to uplift, all I have to do is support. So to see him ready to pour into the things I also enjoy, was a turning point for us. Thank you šš¼ Devoting time for me, helped him to devote time to us.
