Meeting Follow Up/Handoffs to Virtual Assistant
Hi! I am working remotely for an advisor and this is her first time using a VA so we've had a few bumps in the road with regards to tasks that need to be completed post-meeting. Can any advisors share how they handle the meeting follow up? We currently use Redtail CRM and are getting our feet wet with Asana, PreciseFP and AssetMap. And also, I'm looking for a form that an advisor could use that could tell me what accounts need to be opened.

We also use Redtail workflows to most of our follow up items, but we use activity templates for repeatable steps for employees as well. I love Asana for project tracking and larger, repeatable tasks like our party planning steps or plan review steps.
OnceHub
Is anyone currently using OnceHub for scheduling? If so, what has been your experience with using it?

We were an early adopter of ScheduleOnce, now OnceHub and love it. We each have our own calendars plus joint calendars set up. Clients love it as well - it reduced the number of back and forth emails when booking appointments. Do you have any specific questions?
Redtail: Activity Aging/Tracking
Another Redtail question/best practice question. How does everyone track the aging on tasks assigned to others in the office? Our operations team has grown to 3 CSAs now, and I'm having trouble tracking the tasks of the newest hire. There's definitely a productivity issue we need to address, but within RT, I can't run a report to see how old a task is based on when it was initially assigned. Has anyone started adding the date to the beginning of an activity when assigned? Any other ideas? I'd love your input. TIA! :)

@Joe Moss Thank you! I might need to bite the bullet and invest in this tech. Appreciate the reply!
Upset about new Redtail pricing? Considering moving to Wealthbox?
Here are some of the pros and cons of moving to Wealthbox: 💰 Pricing (Annual rates): Redtail Basic: $39/user/mo Wealthbox Basic: $45/user/mo ➡️ But most firms will need: Redtail Growth: $59/user/mo Wealthbox Pro: $59/user/mo For comparison, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is between $225-450/user/mo. So yes, Redtail has gotten significantly more expensive - in our case, about 3x, but is now actually the same price as Wealthbox per user. 📈 Some Pros of Wealthbox: - Direct integration with Outlook/Google email & calendar - Can create tasks directly from emails - More modern UI - to some its easier, to others not so much - Multiple opportunity pipelines (and Kanban :) - Workflow task due dates based on previous task completion - No Frank the Unicorn 📉 Some Cons of Wealthbox: - no (native) Automations - no sequential workflows with the ability of multiple tasks (within steps) open at the same time - limited contact search capabilities and fewer bulk actions - less functional event planning tool (Projects vs. Seminars) We'd love to hear from you! Are you a Redtail user considering Wealthbox? What features are important to you?

Thank you for this summary. We're considering a change because we are tired of the constant angry unicorn issues with Redtail. We'd also like to see emails incorporated better - right now, not being able to search team emails is challenging. We haven't done a demo with WB yet but it's on my project list to do sooner than later. I'm surprised they don't have automations though - that might be a sticking point for our team.
Time Tracking
@Joe Moss recently shared in his tech stack recommendations one or two options for time tracking. I'm curious to hear if anyone has done time tracking in the past/is currently doing it. I love time tracking in theory as a tool to measure capacity, productivity, etc. but I also worry that in reality our CSAs would find it too time consuming or annoying to have to track all their activity when they are constantly bouncing between different tasks (I know, another efficiency issue in and of itself...) and that they simply wouldn't buy in. Thoughts? Experiences? Tips?

I'm really interested in this as well. We've had a bit of a productivity drop but our employees are saying they are close to 10 on a scale of how busy they are. We used an old fashioned printed spreadsheet log back in 2006 but haven't done anything again since then.

@Ben Merrill That's probably the coolest tech I've seen lately. Definitely looking into this!
