My motivation / intention for CORE …
Hello everyone 🫡📈 ! I just ended a crazy 3 weeks rally with no days off here in Tahiti, teaching surf lessons everyday, 2/3 times a day, to 4/8 persons groups… the waves went from 1 foot to 7 foot, crasy currents, lots of up and downs, 5/6 hours driving for me everyday to bring some kids back home, and tourists to their hotels. 😤 Everyone stood up, rode waves left and rights, so much fun and joy 🤩 All of that to say that I’m still passionate to teach surfing everyday to people, I have been surfing and bodyboarding for the past 20 years non stop, and surfing became natural for me It also became natural to TEACH after 7 years doing i, because I know every little crack, and wired aspect of what the ocean is doing to YOU ! ___________ 🩵My intention for this group, is just share my knowledge of the ocean, of the surf, of the forecast, 📈 I want to learn how to create value online, with your help ! 📙 I want to help a 1000 surfers to get FREAKING better at surfing with my help online, and make them save HUNDREDS of dollars with surf school 🏫 like mine in Tahiti __________________ I just wanted to share the love today. __________________ LETS GET THIS COMMUNITY STARTED 😤🔥

Happy to be here bro because you’re very passionate about not just surfing but helping others learn and grow and I think this is just the beginning of this amazing community 🙏🏻
😈 The 1st struggle of surfer… wave reading ?! 😈
1. Identify the Peak 🎯 • The peak is where the wave starts breaking first. It’s usually the highest and steepest part of the wave. Always look for the peak to position yourself correctly. 2. Color Grading 🎨 • The darker the wave, the steeper it is, indicating it’s about to break. Lighter areas are less likely to break soon. Use this visual cue to decide where to paddle. 3. Wave Peeling Direction ↔️ • Waves peel from the peak toward the smaller shoulder. Observe whether the wave is breaking to the left, right, or both. Paddle towards the peeling direction for a smoother ride. 4. Follow the Natural Escape Route 🌿 • The smaller shoulder of the wave creates a safe exit for surfers. It’s the logical path to ride out of the wave without getting caught in the white water.

My beloved friend just blessed me with a brand new board! I am truly grateful and blessed! He knows I'm unemployed and in a very difficult circumstance, but sees my passion to learn and grow in surfing; so God put it in his heart to bless me with this beautiful weapon! It has a beautiful pearl blue accent to the white! The photos don't do it justice! The big brother stinger! Can run with a single fin, or quads!

Very cool!
Introduction
Hey I'm Thomas, I grew up in a small farm town in the US and moved to Indonesia in 2021. Crazy to say this, but I didn't really get into surfing until last year because I initially thought it was way too hard after my first session and I thought I'd never get good at it. I'm glad I finally got past that mindset and realized it's all about the journey and doing what you love. I've been traveling the past 4 months and now headed back to Indo. Just found this group and really excited to grow with you all 🤙
