This Skool Mastermind Will 10x Your Community’s Revenue
Last week, we recorded our FIRST EVER LIVE PODCAST at a private mastermind in Belfast with 50+ Skoolers who travelled from all over the world to be there. During the recording, @Calvin Hollywood & @Ted Carr dropped so many insane gems that we felt it would be EXTREMELY unfair not to share it with everyone who wasn’t in the room. So… we’re dropping the full 90 minutes in all of its glory to help take your community to the next level. A word of warning though: you might not be ready for the MADNESS that's inside👇🏼

Want Confetti Every Time Someone Goes To Your About Page?
I stumbled upon this when testing out my email funnel and was like WOW this is epic how do I make this happen again! Then shoutout to @Bijan Izadi that explained that this happens when someone comes from an email. So I thought, “Hmm that's good to know! But aww I want it to do this when EVERYONE comes to the about page, not just from my email list…” And that’s when I found a way to replicate the confetti, you put ?sc=1 after your about page link. So for example, you want it in the following format: https://www.skool.com/solopreneur/about?sc=1 Unsure if this will work all the time but seems to do the trick! I'm thinking I may use this in my youtube links and other social media platforms that I drive to Skool. Curious though, do you think this would actually help increase about page conversion or decrease it? 🤔 PS - man I love Confetti! 🎉

My Ayahuasca Community is like this with 40 members, mostly all friends I invited, and the main realisations I have had so far: 1) CRITICAL MASS I need to get more members in there to increase engagement. 2) MORE CONTENT I need to post more myself so every time they go there something is happening (social media has conditioned us to want something new every time we open an app or website). 3) MEMBER TO GOAL MATCH I need to have more of a purpose/goal of the community and find people who are in that part of the journey wanting to go towards that goal. Right now there are no active members currently preparing for an Ayahuasca retreat so that MEMBER to GOAL MATCH is not really there - but feel like this is the core I'm missing.
How To Host Your First In-Person Event
Just finished hosting 50+ Skoolers from around the world in my hometown Belfast. Here's three things I learned to help you plan your first IRL event :) // 1. Don't plan the schedule too strictly Everyone's favourite moments of the week were unplanned. - The unexpected topics we covered - The random places we went for dinner - And the laughs/tears we shared along the way There's a reason why @Sam Ovens and @Alex Hormozi start every single 1-day with a blank page. @Nick Guadagnoli calls it "emergence theory," and it's the secret sauce most IRL events skip. (It took me 7 back-to-back trips to Vegas to finally figure this out lol. Don't take as long as I did). // 2. Leave a little wiggle room for things to "go wrong" Something @Ted Carr and I always talk about is that "the difference between a trip and an adventure is that something goes wrong." - Getting stuck in fog while hiking up a mountain - Forgetting a towel while going sea-swimming - Not having enough chairs because so many people showed up All these things created "shared experiences" for us to go through together — which resulted in super-powerful memories, bonds and stories. We didn't get it all right. But we had a lot of fun along the way. // 3. Your Community is craving in-person connection more than you think. People spent thousands of dollars to fly to Belfast from places like Canada, France, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, United States, and Australia (35 hours). The one reason they came? (According to @Calvin Hollywood) "Proximity," AKA to be around: - Like-minded people - Who are trying to achieve the same goal - And a group where they felt like they belonged This is the reason people joined your community in the first place. Why not take it offline?

@Matthew Thompson You guys should do your next one down here in New Zealand!
Emails = confetti
1. Set up zapier to collect emails 2. Send a simple sequence to your members 3. Add in various skool links (valuable posts, calendar event links, etc.) AND Bam, you get confetti every time (at least in my tests) that you click the link and it opens skool So, there is a reason to use your traditional email list…

@Bijan Izadi interesting, what is the main benefit you get from GHL compared to Systeme? What functionality do use HTML emails for?
