So, I took my previous song deleted all the parts and now I've got this already familiar template now and it's so easy to find new inspiration. I'm already totally stoked on this new track, and I love how it will most likely have a cohesive sound with track 1. To build a real body of work is important to me. Thanks to Alex for gathering us here and everyone for their support! I can't believe it's happening, I almost feel too happy and it makes me a little nervous cuz then I have something to lose. I'm breaking all the rules of the system, but the core ideas are there, and I really like what is happening. Also guys you MUST start writing your morning pages, it might just change your life, in the strangest of ways even not musically, I don't know what's happening, but everything really popped off when I started doing it for almost a month now. I would incorporate it in the system if it were my system, it's so important imho. Try it for a month, every single day as soon as you awaken (google for details "morning pages") if you don't feel any different post back here and tell me I'm crazy but I'm sure that won't happen. It seems that guitar, acoustic guitar in particular really inspires the hell out of me, in my past era of trying to make music I didn't do anything physical besides "play" the keys and draw/program but now that I'm using guitar its a total game changer.

Hey @Alexandre Joyal - saw an idea in another group that I thought would be helpful here: perhaps you could pin a new thread where everyone in the group can comment and list all their skills. Then, this thread could be edited and updated with each "section" of skills. Like this: Vocalists: @thatguy, @otherguy, etc etc Guitarist: @x, @x, @x Mix/Master Sampler Etc etc. Thoughts, suggestions? Bad Idea? Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you this as a topic. Been pretty quiet lately, what have y’all be up to? New tracks? Overcome some stuff?

curious as to what everyone is using as their interface? Second question: are you happy? third question combo: any suggestions for a good interface that doesn’t break the bank that I could build upon to go a little hardware centric and rely less on DSP? Also, suggestions for a good cardiod home studio mic? My experience: I’ve been using an Antelope Zen Go for an couple years after upgrading from the “cliche/meme” Scarlett 2i2 and, although the afx emulation is incredible, I’m just not finding myself happy with it. The digital interface UI feels kind of clunky, both the input pre’s and output’s seem so sensitive (loud in the monitors, super quiet while tracking even with gain adjustment) and I’ve had two of the edge solo’s emulation mic’s go out on me - they are so sensitive. Now that the warranty is up, I’d rather just invest in a good piece of hardware I could build upon/stack/patch/etc. All thoughts and suggestions are welcome and encouraged.
