some good karma for once!
A friend of mine just gifted me a fender jazz bass out of nowhere and I’ve legit always wanted one! Although the world doesn’t typically reciprocate the kindness and love I try to give to others, on a rare occasion, the things I want and choose to give to others is reciprocated. I’m so incredibly grateful. Opened up logic and did a super quick vibe jam to give her some props and posted it: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAADUDDuKAr/?igsh=bXFkOHpqbmhyYTgx

Feedback on my understanding of the influences process.
Hi guys and @Alexandre Joyal. I have mostly been working in the flow state since I started watching the 10 day challenge videos, I has been great. But I have now decided to take the full workflow for a spin, to see how it can make me evolve. I am at the first step before going to calibrate. So I am now sharing a list I made with 10 tracks and some notes for each. But am I understanding the instructions right, I know it is all about starting to think about what I am going to make before I start creating, and if that is the result, then it does not really matter if I am doing it right in regards to the workflow. But would be nice to see if I understood the instructions right and made a list that will work for the workflow. English is not my native language, so there could be some misunderstandings from my side. All the best. Audio Interface Experiences? Good Home Studio Mic?
curious as to what everyone is using as their interface? Second question: are you happy? third question combo: any suggestions for a good interface that doesn’t break the bank that I could build upon to go a little hardware centric and rely less on DSP? Also, suggestions for a good cardiod home studio mic? My experience: I’ve been using an Antelope Zen Go for an couple years after upgrading from the “cliche/meme” Scarlett 2i2 and, although the afx emulation is incredible, I’m just not finding myself happy with it. The digital interface UI feels kind of clunky, both the input pre’s and output’s seem so sensitive (loud in the monitors, super quiet while tracking even with gain adjustment) and I’ve had two of the edge solo’s emulation mic’s go out on me - they are so sensitive. Now that the warranty is up, I’d rather just invest in a good piece of hardware I could build upon/stack/patch/etc. All thoughts and suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

Oh boy oh boy school year begins…you make me happy that I am childless no shade 🤣🤣🤣 Hope the 2nd dizzy album, along with your solo project is going well. Speaking of that - regarding your solo project, I’m curious: what sonic and dynamic qualities are you able to express in the solo project that you can’t with the band? Stoked to hear it and see what you do separate from the group

@Giordano Ruberto love that you’re putting in the work and doing stuff with your gf too as well that’s awesome! I unequivocally empathize on the pressures of the social groups and trying to keep up. Actually been moving away from “the main socials” and just trying to focus more on actual, “more direct and personal” community. I’m also right there with you on trying to spend more time in nature and in the quiet. It’s needed and there’s not enough of it. I’m sorry to hear about some of your current trials and tribulations you’re working through and wish you strength, peace, wisdom, and clarity through them.
