I’d love to figure out streaming, and while I keep hearing OBS as a top free contender, there are other things I’d love to have as a feature that require additional software add ons as far as I can tell with my research tonight. Features I’d love to figure out are: 1-stream with a text overlay of all the different platform chats combine so that no one audience feels left out of the convo and I’m not talking to any segmented audience. 2- on command overlay triggers (like fun inside joke animations that I can make and press a button to get it to work. I have a stream deck that I suspect can achieve this but I’m not clear on how OBS and the stream deck play together. If there are alternative processes I’m open to hearing them.) 3-any top suggested permanent overlay structure layouts 4-running a stopwatch timer on screen. 5-streaming from my phone to multiple places (I do own a DSLR if that’s the more preferred method) 6-streaming both horizontal and vertical video. WHEW! Ok, those are the big questions I have and I’d love to hear any solutions or suggestions this group has to help me out on some top questions that came out of my research tonight. OR! Even if it’s just getting a simple stream up before adding all the extra dressings I’d love to have I’m open to that. Is OBS the place to even start? Thanks!

I haven’t posted this publicly yet. I haven’t even written down my thoughts in my journal yet. I sat yesterday, holding my brother‘s hand as he took his last breath. It hasn’t even been 24 hours yet. I called his son and his daughter so that my sister-in-law could tell them that their father had died, while she held his hand. Obviously, I’m still grieving, but I woke up this morning. Never before have I felt more profoundly the gift of another day. I want to share with you what’s on my mind. Outside of my immediate circle of my closest friends, you are my tightest community. 1. I’m cutting everything out of my life that’s not important. 2. I’m done wasting time being angry or offended 3. I commit to being a good enough leader, that it compensates for the learning curve of the people that look for me to help them 4. The abundance in my life is meant to overflow and fill the people around me 5. I woke up today. I thank God first and then leave room for inspiration to take me where I’m needed. 6. I’m slowing the f* down. We were given the power of choice. It is Satans greatest tool to make us think we don’t have it. Anytime we think “I have to…” do this or that, complete the sentence with “… In order to.” Because the truth is, you don’t really have to do anything. Everything is a choice. How good can you stand your life? I pray it’s not, but if today were your last day, would you be proud of what you did with it? I want to learn everything I can from this so that God doesn’t have to teach me a more difficult classroom. Every single one of you is loved. Please never forget that.

I've begun using Chat GPT to give me feedback on how to balance my thumbnails to be better and more attractive while representing my brand. Even when I've got a decent design this has 10x my ability to create new layouts with feedback on how to make slight adjustments to be design balanced. Here's an example of a thumbnail I tried to make on my own (First Image) then attempted to include some of its suggestions, but my words were blocking details, my branding while represented was too glaring, and the image I selected didn't stand out enough. Version 2 in the middle, and Final version on 3. I've shortened my thumbnail intrigue sentence, pushed up the contrast (Because the image was too dark), focused on the main character's expression by outlining her, and used an iconic shot from the film that any fan would recognize. The facial expressions are hopeless and scared despite the juxtaposed sentence on it to create a curiosity gap for people to click onto it. I'm very hopeful for this thumbnail when this video releases in a couple of weeks. BUT, here's the best part. I need to create THREE additional thumbnail layouts with this exact process of an entirely new image because then YOUTUBE will allow me to A/B/C test three thumbnails against each other to see which has the best click-through rate.
