What times is good for cold calling home improvement businesses

Yo everyone! I'm in the home improvement space and looking for some advice. I can dedicate about an hour a day to cold calling, but I’d be targeting businesses on the other side of Australia, so no local ones. On the flip side, I could dive all in on cold email since I can schedule them whenever and hit them at the best times {so I can obviously reach out allot more} What do you think is the better play?

I need help on deciding whether I should do cold dms or cold emails for local businesses (b2b). Due to my situation I need to choose one of these 2 so which one has the highest success rate?
