Free Trials | What It Looks Like As A User/Member 🕵️‍♀️
As soon as I saw 7 day Free Trials were now LIVE, I wanted to know what it looked like from a user's perspective and as a community owner. I went ahead and recorded it for you in case you were also curious! This goes through joining, and cancelling the trial. What I didn't include in the Loom is that they can reactivate their membership even if they immediately cancel upon joining. So if that happens to you, give so much value you make them go reactivate membership!

Paying member -> free member?
[edited - answer by Skool team added] I am trying to figure out the following: When an existing member in my paid community becomes a high ticket client, I would love to release them from paying and gift them free access to the paid community. Is there a way to change their subscription manually to the free plan without them having to cancel and then get added for free? * * * And here is the answer by Skool team (thank you for the very swift response, @Erika Kulpina 🙏): “For now, the only way is to remove and re-invite them. Their progress is saved, so they won't lose their level or points. We have noted down to improve the process and we will keep everyone updated as soon as there's a better way to handle this.” “Drip Courses and Time Unlock would be the only thing it affects since both are based on the join date, which resets when they rejoin. But admins can release time locked and drip locked content any time under members tab > membership cog > courses > release content“.

Good question, because if they leave they lose all of the Skool points?

2 Paths To Grow Your Free Skool With Ads
I want to break down the two main paths you can take to grow your FREE skool community using Facebook ads. I've seen many of you struggling with this, so let's clear things up! Path 1: Sales Campaign with (Optional Landing Page because you can also send people directly to the about page) Here's how it works: 1. Set up a sales campaign in Facebook Ads Manager 2. Choose "Complete Registration" as your optimization event 3. Make sure your landing page has the skool tracking pixel installed 4. Include the "Page View" event pixel on your funnel page The flow here is: Ad → Your Landing Page → About Page → Community Registration Or the shorter path: Ad → About Page → Community Registration Path 2: Lead Generation Campaign This is my personal favorite for growing your email list and community simultaneously: 1. Create a lead generation campaign in Ads Manager 2. Use Facebook's native lead forms (those instant forms that pop up) 3. Collect emails directly on Facebook 4. Use the thank you page to direct people to your community The flow looks like this: Ad → Facebook Lead Form → Thank You Page → Community Registration I love this approach because it typically gives you cheaper leads and prioritizes your email list growth. Plus, you can invite people to join your community right away on the thank you screen. Comparing the 2 strategies in ads manager https://www.loom.com/share/1c4f7672543b468aaf126549ef18e8d9?sid=d39e36e8-ba41-4f78-8192-0ef06faa0615 Set up conversion tracking for skool https://youtu.be/bB-SmLX8iA0?si=w0_Kj72heg6Ev3Qs

This is gold!! Thank you, @Evelyn Weiss! I already changed my lead gen ad! 🙏🏼
Shoutout to the Queen 👑
I was so happy to see @Evelyn Weiss mentioned during the presentation today that I wanted to give her a shoutout here as a thank you! 💖 Evelyn helped me with sooooo many things. I'm still new at this but she helped me set up my audience growing offer here on Skool with Facebook ads - and with annual payment I can already see that I'm breaking even AND making a little on the top. This means I have a system that is bringing new people into my world on autopilot without me having to pay for it from the get go. 🥳 Yes she can help you too, in case you were wondering, even if you start from scratch! My about page converts at 11.09% thanks to her! 😍
