Great news!
Wanted to share some good news, Viktoria won solver for 50 m butterfly and 200 m medley. However, she knows that was luck as she did not beat her PBs. And her coach told her, "Viktoria you know you could swim faster". She still struggles sometimes with competition anxiety and she started to use the breathing technique. She struggles with using it in her daily life in order to become her routine and work unconsciously. As David said, something to work and get in your mind it needs to repeat many times until become routine. We, as parent support you and would do everything you manage in whatever you do, but this also depends on you, to do your part. Wish you dreams come true. πŸ™

Get Your Technique Fixed In October
Instead of teaching you proper technique and giving you constant feedback... Swim coaches often hang out on their phones... Or chat to the lifeguards... πŸ˜… And sometimes, the coach just sucks and doesn't do his or her job... But sometimes, they have 30+ children in one group and it's impossible to give the swimmers the attention that they need. Either way, you're not getting the technical feedback that you need which sucks because you'll be slow. I was skeptical to coach technique online at first because I thought I needed to be there live with the swimmer. Then I tried it with a private client of mine, he's only 12y old... And all I did was analyze his breaststroke for about 30mins... 45 days ago his PB was a 3:04. I gave him ONE technical input for his breaststroke kick and we double-checked his progress after 30 days... And this weekend - 45 days later... Drumroooolls... He swam a 2:45!! That's 19 seconds in 45 days, not bad. So I thought I'll let you guys know first that I'm offering to do the same for 5 swimmers in October. First come first serve. All details in the Classroom tab under TECHNICAL STROKE ANALYSIS. You'll have to send me good quality videos and then there will be multiple short 1-1 meetings with me on Zoom over the next 30-60 days. I'll explain everything once you're on the inside. See you at the pool, David 🏊 P.S. Don't miss tomorrow's Live Training at 8:30pm CET - I'll show you life lesson from Kobe Bryant that changed my life and I wish someone told me earlier.

Goals
My short term goals. I want to remain Cornwall County Champion in 200 fly 2025. Since getting my qualifying time (Dec 23) i have not been able to get a new pb . I want to get it under 3mins. It currently stands at 3:13:99. Last week was my closest attempt at 1:14:38. I qualified in 3 regional events last year, i would love to qualify for nationals next year. Long term Olympics 🀩

Welcome in the MindGym For Swimmers! This is a community to help competitive swimmers get rid of pre-race anxiety. And swim faster than you EVER have!! ❀️ Step #1: Before you do anything else, get your custom 30-day improvement plan here. πŸ’ Step #2: What's your dream for swimming? Vote below. πŸ– Step #3: Introduce yourself to the community by commenting on this post. You can copy this template if you want: Name Your Age Current Location Your #1 goal this season Your FAVORITE GIF πŸš€ Step #4: When you've done Steps 1-3, start your MindGym journey: - Getting started on Skool - Watch The 5 Simple Steps to Overcome Pre-Race Anxiety - Pre-Race Confidence course Want my attention? I volunteer quite some time to deliver you the tools that the sports psychologist of Michael Phelps taught me FOR FREE. When I send you a welcome DM, you'll get my attention if you act like a decent human being and say hi back 😊 🚨 WARNING: If you APPLY (=implement, use, do...) what I teach inside the Pre-Race Confidence course, you will swim faster than ever - especially under pressure. Don't change anything, the system is perfect. But you have to do the work! If you're just consuming videos and don't change your behavior, YOU HAVE LEARNT NOTHING!! 🚨🚨 Even if it feels weird to engage in the community, do it anyways. Get over yourself and start contributing to the growth of the other members here. Fun fact: You know why you suck at the individual race in the morning and then are killin' it in the relay just a couple hours later? It's because you automatically get out of your own way when you make it about others. And the pre-race anxiety that you're struggling with right now is because you're in your own way.

Hi I’m Skyla I’m 12. I have been in a swim club for two years competitively and I am Cornwall County Champion for 200m fly. I also hold a world record for being part of the largest synchronised swimming group which was fun. I have got to regionals but want to get to nationals, swim for England and who knows maybe enter the Olympics. That would be the ultimate dream! Next week I’m representing Penzance in the relay team , start small aim big.

This weekend i am representing my club again in county relays. We were last year’s champions. These type of galas are fun. What is best to eat before racing? Thanks
