👋 Hey, I’m Shannon but people call me Froggy!
👋 Hey, I’m Froggy! I’m all about creatin’ a life and business that’s fun, flexible, and full of meaning. I’m here to learn from people like u (yes, u!) creating my online business through content, community, and courses. im just currently hustlin’ on social media.. i am lookin’ to monetize and grow, hopefully i have found the right place. What I want to get from this community: 1. Learn how to monetize my content and grow a profitable community and course business. 2. Gain a CEO mindset that stays focused and sharp, even when things get crazy. 3. Get those valuable templates, launch strategies, and growth hacks to take my content to the next level. For fun, I’m all about: 1. Strategizing and buildin’ new ideas to grow my biz without stressin’ about the grind. 2. Taking long family type weekends, enjoying life, and still getting that work done (balance is key!). 3. Helping others realize that they can turn their passion into profit.. learning through content, courses, and creating that dream life. Froggy Ribbit Tidbit: Don’t rush the process. The best things take time to build. Trust in the work, enjoy the journey, and watch it all come together. I am ready to create a business that works for me? Let’s go!

I want to make a private podcast, similar to Mariah's
Anyone know the simplest way to create this? I think @Mariah Coz once said she just records in Zoom, grabs the audio file, and...? What platform is the easiest to turn an audio file into a podcast? And if I want a private one...?

The simplest way to create a podcast from an audio file is exactly what Mariah Coz suggested—record in Zoom, download the audio file, and upload it to a podcast platform. For public podcasts, platforms like Anchor by Spotify are beginner-friendly and free, offering tools to upload, edit, and distribute. For private podcasts, you can use platforms like Hello Audio or Supercast, which allow you to share access with select listeners while keeping the content private. They handle audio hosting and make it easy to share your episodes securely.
1 year access?
Just wondering .. Mariah, what is the logic behind giving 1 year access to your courses? Do you feel this improves completion rates?

Hey there! Great question! Giving one-year access can definitely support completion rates, especially when it’s combined with reminders or milestone emails along the way. The logic is that a full year gives students enough flexibility to fit the course into their busy schedules without feeling rushed, which can ease the overwhelm and reduce procrastination. It also builds in urgency—they know they only have a set time to complete it, so they’re more likely to stay motivated to finish. Plus, if the course is updated during that year, it can create a sense of added value and encourage engagement, as students want to make the most of what they’ve invested in. In short, one-year access balances flexibility with urgency, both of which are key for keeping people moving toward completion!

@Sue Jalowiec Alright
Moving from client work to passive income
What is the general consensus about how many courses/ training you should have in your business? I see many people offering lots of different small investment products, but for someone who is only now starting out with courses - I've just created my first ever mini-course (I've been a done-for-you service provider for a long time) - is it a case of marketing the f*** out of that one thing until it reaches a certain revenue goal before making something else? Tbh I'm a Projector (in Human Design) and the thought of creating product after product gives me anxiety, I know for people like Generators can just create endlessly, but I feel that's not my modus operandi. Can people share their journey from creating their first course and what came after?

It’s so smart to tune into your strengths and energy, especially as a Projector! For many people (especially those who thrive on focused, impactful work rather than churning out multiple products), there’s definitely wisdom in perfecting and fully marketing that one course first. In fact, many successful course creators do exactly that—they develop a single, well-aligned product and dedicate time to refining their marketing approach, learning what resonates with their audience, and adjusting the course based on feedback. This can be especially powerful when you’re new to courses because you get to really understand the needs of your audience and position yourself as an expert around that one core offer. Here’s a potential roadmap you might find aligned: 1. Go All-In on Your Mini-Course: Market it fully and consider building an ecosystem around it—think webinars, free challenges, and other lead-generation efforts. This creates a strong funnel for your mini-course, letting you reach your revenue goals without splitting your focus. 2. Gather Testimonials and Feedback: As people complete your course, collect insights and testimonials. This gives you the data to either improve this course or determine the logical “next step” for your students. 3. Add a Next-Level Offering: If you find that your audience wants more, you can create a follow-up or deeper-dive course that feels like a natural progression rather than a brand-new topic. 4. Consider a Signature Program or Membership: Once your mini-course is thriving, a single high-value program or membership that complements your done-for-you services can bring more depth to your offers without needing to juggle multiple products. A focused approach can often yield even better results than spreading yourself thin, especially when you’re energetically aligned with each offer.

what is the next step after champange clients?

After landing those initial “champagne clients” (the ones who feel like a perfect fit and are willing to invest well in your services), the next step is often about scaling, refining, and diversifying your offerings. Here’s a roadmap for taking things to the next level: 1. Optimize Client Experience: Turn those champagne clients into loyal advocates by enhancing the client journey—think automated onboarding, regular check-ins, and post-project follow-ups. This builds strong relationships, leading to referrals and repeat business. 2. Build Case Studies and Testimonials: Document your results with champagne clients to create powerful case studies and testimonials. These become assets for marketing and help you attract similar, high-quality clients. 3. Streamline and Systemize: To scale efficiently, look at where you can create workflows or automate tasks. This could mean using project management tools or creating templates for onboarding and client communication. This frees up your time to take on more clients without compromising on quality. 4. Productize Services: Consider turning some of your expertise into products, like workshops, mini-courses, or guides. This creates a passive income stream and allows potential clients to experience your value at different price points. 5. Consider Upsells and Packages: Design higher-tier packages for premium clients who want more personalized or intensive work. Or, if they’re at capacity, create smaller, ongoing support options like monthly check-ins, coaching calls, or private communities. 6. Expand Your Brand Presence: With a solid client foundation, it’s time to reach a broader audience. Content marketing, social media, and thought leadership can establish your authority in your field and attract new clients. Consistency here amplifies the effect. The focus should be on maintaining the quality you’ve achieved with those high-value clients while creating structures that support growth and new opportunities.
