Leg day plus another PR in Leg Press🥳
Leg Day Leg extensions: 2x12 reps @ 130lbs 1x12 reps @ 140lbs Seated leg curl: 2x12 reps @ 130lbs 1x12 reps @ 140lbs Calf Extension: 3x20 reps @ 130lbs Seated leg press: 1x15 reps @ 3 plates 2x12 reps @ 4 plates (new PR💪🔥) Dumbbell squats: 3x12 reps @ 35lbs After the leg workout, I hopped on the treadmill and did half of the Sprint8 program on the machine. So basically it would bring up the speed and incline automatically; I set it to advanced so I would sprint at 7-7.2 mph for 30 seconds and then 1:30 recovery. This is good because it spikes my heart rate so I burn more and then it’s training me to run at that speed more often. So I did that “circuit” 4 times. 💪🔥

Did a good stretch to start! Ran another 26mins keeping a 7:30 pace for the majority of it. At the 15min mark I brought the speed to about 6:50 pace and then brought it back down at the 20min mark, walked for about 4mins and then for the final 2 mins I ran at 11km/h or 5:27 pace which is the pace I need to run for the race in about 7 months! Making progress💪🔥 I finished the workout on the cryo message chair at planet fitness just for a quick recovery and it’s pretty beneficial for my metabolism! Felt great!!

Chicago Marathon ✅
Running the Chicago marathon yesterday was an experience. No race I’ve been to has come close to the energy that Chicago had! There were 50,000 runners and around a million spectators lined the course! More details on my community! Have any of you ran a marathon?

Working on getting back to shape!
Went with a slow jog this morning. I’ve been getting lazy running lately, been spending too much time on weights. It’s good to have a balance in strength, and endurance.
