Why I Venmo'd Sean $2 at 5am
In a previous post I said starting a new habit is easier than you think. I talked about a helpful 30-day activity tracker I use when starting a new habit. I linked to the tool in that post, check it out the original post here. Sean got $2 of my hard earned dollars because I haven't looked at my tracker for 4 days. Originally I said I'd pay him $0.50 per day for every day from 12/1 to whatever date that I didn't start using the tool. (Ask @Sean Richard why I chose 50 cents in the comments if you wanna hear a rant 😂) I started using the tracker on time, used it for 2 days then stopped for 4 days. I'm holding myself accountable to the $0.50 per day punishment. Look, it's not about the $2. We're good here at the Raven household, $2 isn't causing big pain. It's the public declaration and accountability The brutal truth? I get the tracker out when I'm off track on SEVERAL habits, not just when I'm starting a new one. I should be using it every month so I don't constantly have to restart. Stupid. @Tyler Bonney you seem super disciplined, do you have any tips to help us squirrels?

Hi all - happy December 1st.. I am treating today like Jan 1st, starting my new schedule , habits , ext a tad early. Everyone makes an oath that they will start Jan 1st, but why not get ahead of that? Let’s goooo!

@Lou Raven completely agree. Some weeks connections can be so high and then another week the connections can be so low.. even if you are pumping out the same amount of cold calls. Just need to be consistent every week with the amount of dials you do / time lead gen IMO
