Holiday Chaos Survival Guide: Keep Your Sanity Intact 🎄☕
This is my version of a survival guide, because let’s face it—the holidays are less “silent night” and more “tinsel explosion meets caffeine-fueled panic.” But don’t worry, armed with coffee, sarcasm, and just a touch of planning, we’ll get through this without a full-on Hallmark holiday meltdown. Coffee First, Chaos Later Let’s get our priorities straight: fuel up before diving into the holiday madness. Whether it’s coffee, tea, eggnog, or whatever gets you in gear, make sure you’ve got your go-to beverage in hand before tackling that mile-long shopping list or untangling fairy lights. Staying caffeinated (or, you know, nog-ivated) ensures you deck the halls, not someone’s patience. Simplify Like It’s Your Job Not every gift needs to be wrapped in 12 layers of Pinterest-worthy perfection. Gift bags exist for a reason, and no one’s ever said, “This holiday was amazing, but her wrapping paper was subpar.” Save your sanity and your tape. Say No to Overcommitment Your calendar doesn’t have to look like a holiday rom-com montage. Pick a few events that truly matter and let the rest go. It’s okay to skip the cookie swap if it means more time for you. Make Space for Quiet Moments Light a candle, watch an old episode of your favorite chick flick, or maybe a Christmas movie or just sit with a warm mug of coffee (or cocoa, no judgment). The holidays aren’t about perfection, they’re about presence. Delegate Like a Pro Why do it all yourself? Ask for help whether it’s decorating, cooking, or managing the group chat drama. A little teamwork makes the holiday dream work. Remember What Actually Matters At the end of the day, it’s not about the perfect tree or the biggest turkey. It’s about connection, laughter, and maybe that one relative’s “secret” eggnog recipe. Lean into the moments that matter most. Let’s make it through the holiday chaos together with a little humor, a lot of coffee, and maybe some stretchy pants for all those festive treats. What’s your top tip for staying sane during the season?

What's holding me back? I would think it's the lack of personal confidence coupled with procrastination. Happy Winter Solstice! It's almost the end of the day here in Singapore & I would like to share my DONE list. ✅️ Confirmed my colour palettes, fonts, & icon for my digital process automation business ✅️ Redid one slide deck to showcase a case study on UpWork portfolio ✅️ Summarised 2025 guidance pointers (visited a fengshui master weeks ago but just reviewed & noted down on my Notion - it could be absurd to some but I have too many ideas/thoughts going on so I felt I needed it 😂) ✅️ Swept & run ✅️ Completed a 30min/3.6km run ✅️ Listened to positive affirmations

Your highest skill(s) - Adaptability & Digital Literacy I managed to pivot to a technology-related role, despite having a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Management and having my career started in an Operations role. Your lowest skill(s) - Conflict Resolution Skills & Side Hustles I ranked conflict resolution skills low as I'm unable to recall the success rates of resolving conflict and sometimes, when the conflict isn't worth the fight, I would avoid it and focus on things that matter more. While I have a side hustle selling therapeutic tools, such as modern calligraphy books, brush pens, crystal gua sha, etc., it's not considered successful. I have even visited Guangzhou, China, to explore its crystal, clothing, and shoe wholesale centres. While I managed to discover good-quality products, I fared poorly in my marketing skills. A skill you're working on—I'm working on a digital process automation business because it's a business where I could work anywhere I like, and I won't be holding on to physical inventory, which I currently am. As someone who could communicate in mandarin, I did think of offering sourcing services but only if I meet people who need it. For now, I will focus on digital process automation related. A skill you want to work on - Self-doubt would be what's holding me back! This is a recurring theme and hence, showing up on skool's communities is what keeps me going!

Connect Yourself The Fun Way !
Hello hooman! Ever feel like networking is intimidating or awkward? Let me tell you a little secret from my own playbook: fun is the ultimate ice breaker. 🐱✨ Whether it’s sharing a laugh, swapping memes, or just enjoying a lighthearted moment, having fun makes building a network of amazing people easy and pawsome. Here’s why it works: 🎭 It creates instant connections - when you laugh together, you bond faster. 😹 It lowers barriers - humor makes conversations flow naturally. 🎉 It sets the tone - when people enjoy themselves, they’re more open and engaged. And here’s the real secret sauce: it all happens in the comment section—NOT from a post! Here’s your step-by-step guide: 1️⃣ Engage with people in the comments: Reply to their posts, share a laugh, or add something fun. 2️⃣ Feel the connection? Hit the follow button and .. 3️⃣ Slide or poop into their DMs (pooping in DMs is my style, but you hoomans might prefer a more… civilized approach). And voilà, hooman you’ve just made a connection you can build upon! Simple, fun, and effective. 🐾 Thank me later, The Skool Cat 😼

Day 14: Reflecting on the Journey
Activity: Reflect on the progress you’ve made over the past two weeks, focusing on your personal growth and financial literacy. Task: Write a summary of your biggest takeaways from this challenge. Identify one financial habit or practice that you’re committed to continuing and one new goal to work toward. Journal Tracker: 1. What was the most significant lesson you learned The most significant lesson was that consistency is key to building financial discipline. Small, daily habits like saving $1 a day or cutting unnecessary expenses can add up over time. 2. How has this challenge changed your perspective on finances? This challenge has taught me to approach my finances with a more mindful, disciplined mindset. It's not just about cutting back but also about making strategic, long-term decisions that align with my goals. 3.What is one financial habit or mindset shift you want to maintain going forward? I want to maintain the habit of tracking my expenses regularly and making sure I’m prioritizing my savings and emergency fund, rather than giving in to impulse buys. Instructions I’ve made great progress these past two weeks, and I feel more confident in managing my finances. I’m excited to continue building on this momentum and carry this mindset into my future financial decisions. It’s all about staying consistent and focused!
