هذه قناة = this is a channel هذه القناة = this channel The ال makes it definite. مفيدة for a feminine word. هذا الفيديو because فيديو is masculine. Also, فيديو is singular, not sure if that's what you meant to say.

In Lebanese حليب is milk and لبن is yoghurt. So keep that in mind if you're ever speaking to Lebanese person :D

@Mas Deen I think خضراء is a diptote but it has an ال so that rule is ignored. @Adam B is that right?

Just wondering how we pronounce the sukoon at the end of ينرلْ المصر and فتضايقتْ الحيوانات. Would we say yanzil almatar or yanzilulmatar? I know in the Quran, the meeting of two saakins is dealt with by putting a harakah at the end of the first word.

01 reading exercise explanation video
This is an explainer video for the last reading exercise we did. I try to explain the reasoning behind the ending haraka on each word. This is great! Why is it كثيرةَ and not كثيرةُ? Is it because of the كانت?
