This Mistake Is Holding You BACK From IMPROVING 📈
I see people all around me making this mistake. And that's the reason they go back to playing video games. But you won't, because you're reading this. Let me tell you the secret... Instead of cutting out a bad habit, progressively deload or replace that habit. Quite frankly, cutting out something never works, because you'll just go back to that habit 3 days later. So there's no point. Let's get into the details... ---------------------------------- 1) Progressively deloading I bet you're familiar with progressively overloading in the gym. What we are doing with bad habits is the opposite. We do that bad habit less and less and less. If you're a video game addict playing video games for 7 hours a day, you won't be able to cut them out. But if you play next week for 6 hours, then 5, then 4, etc... you will be able to quit video games in less than 2 months. ---------------------------------- 2) Replacing For example, when you get an urge to play video games, you go for a run, work out, or work on your business instead of doing that. I already know what limiting beliefs you have about this, and I agree. It IS hard. And you WILL go back to the bad habit by doing this. But still, it is way better than trying to cut the bad habit out. And if you have discipline and willpower, that is a powerful way to get rid of an unwanted habit. ---------------------------------- What to do now? You see, the truly most powerful way of getting rid of a habit you want to quit FOR MONTHS is actually combining the two methods I just taught you. Combine. Use both. Try to do something productive whenever you want to do a bad habit, WHILE progressively deloading. Because replacing the habit helps you with progressive deloading. ---------------------------------- Hope that helped, G ❤️
