Do You Recognize Any of These? If You Do, It Could Cost You...
I thought of sharing this as it is so powerful where it comes to our success (and failure). Through the years coaching people and working in a therapy setting, and personal experience, I found that many of my intelligent, inspired, disciplined and ambitious clients just couldn't get past a certain result block. They did everything right and just felt stuck. The main reason was their unconscious mind blocking success, as it basically orchestrates everything at a deep level. I found that these beliefs were some of the most common gatekeepers to success (the list is longer): - “I’m not good enough.” - “I don’t deserve success.” - “Nothing ever works out for me.” - “People like me don’t make that kind of money.” - “I’ll just mess it up.” - “I’m always struggling.” - “Success is too hard for me.” - “I’m just not lucky.” - I’ll never be as successful as others.” - “I can’t change; this is just who I am.” - “If I succeed, I’ll lose my friends.” - “I’ll can't find my passion or purpose.” the most potent limiting beliefs around money: - “Money is the root of all evil.” This creates an immediate negative association with wealth, leading to self-sabotage, when it starts pouring in. - “I’ll never have enough money.” This reflects a scarcity mentality, making it impossible to create wealth or to sustain it even when you made it. One guy lost over a million in 6 months just because of that. - “Rich people are greedy or dishonest.” Fear of becoming someone you dislike will stop you in your tracks - “I can’t afford that.” This closes of possibilities and places focus on limitations and impossibilities. Its impoissible to create from a problem focus. - “Making money means I have to sacrifice my values.” This creates an internal conflict, making it hard to pursue any opportunities. The list is a lot longer than this. From a pure self hypnosis perspective, limiting beliefs really mess with our subconscious. When we tell ourselves things like “money is the root of all evil” or “I can’t afford that,” the unconscious absorbs these ideas as truth.
