Trying to Hack Skool to be my Own Affiliate
Hi All, Harold Meadows and I ran a test this morning to see if we could find a workaround that would allow us to be our own affiliate by playing with the transfer ownership functionality. TLDW: Either it's not possible, or we were testing too fast

Trying to Hack Skool to be my Own Affiliate

I did this with 5 of my own created skool groups. I had 2 different accounts and used one account to be the referrer of the others. I even deleted & re-created my first one based of the other account‘s link and linked all to my same stripe payout account. I effectively paid only 5x60$ instead of 5x100$ for all then.
Explained: Growing a Skool group with ads
As requested by @Sid Sahasrabuddhe — I've created this short tutorial video, explaining: - The easiest and most effective way to run ads to get leads - How you can track these ads with a 100% accuracy - How you can scale your free or paid Skool group. If you got any questions, please feel free to ask them below.

Explained: Growing a Skool group with ads

@Kuli Dhesi Our experience was that shorter VSL videos below 10 min perform best because users can watch it instantly, even if they don't have a lot of time at the point of opt in. I'd put the full 30,60,90 minute value "webinar" / Masterclass / Miniclass inside your skool to get people in instead of giving everything before they joined. Build curiosity to join. Make sure to auto-approve all members quickly so that they don't have to wait long from VSL video to skool membership approved. :)

@Kuli Dhesi 50% optin rate from Leads to Skool Members below 10minute VSL Videos. For longer videos/full webinars, I feel you lose a lot of people throughout the long webinar video so less people reach the end, and then less can join. Feel free to test it :)
When can we get Pixel tracking? (& Auto-Accept new Members!)
I'm running paid ads to skool groups for 3 different businesses right now and all struggle with tracking and conversion goal optimization. I tried the funnel with a normal email opt-in form before sending people to the skool, but then people now to skool have to insert their email & info 3 times! (first in the form, second in the skool account registration, and third in the skool group application) I tried to send people directly into the skool and have them click on a welcome link page inside the skool to pixel their page view and use that as a conversion goal, however hardly anyone clicks it... ALSO, please, PLEASE allow for Auto-Accepting of new Member Requests because that is a complete break in the funnel right now: 1) People see the ad, get hyped about the course/value/community inside the skool 2) They visit the Page / Funnel & Sign Up 3) Now they have to often wait HOURS for the next moderator & admin to check new pending member requests and allow them in manually (wtf..). This means that the user can not see Ad, visit page and log into Course/Community/Product on Skool in the same browsing session. A lot of people will never activate into the skool content because of this and manually clicking hundreds of members to accept their request is a kind of work no entrepreneur or skool host would want to do... Please give some pre-defined Events to send to Facebook Pixel & Google Ads/Analytics, like Typeform & Calendly do it. Insert Pixel via ID. And please allow for Skool Hosts to enable automatically instantly approve any new member request if they want that. Thank you very much :) @Sam Ovens

@Sam Ovens That‘s the best thing I‘ve heard this year 😍😍 Any info on timeline? 1-2 months?
What is your target for paid ads?
if you have a skool community and you run paid ads to your group; what do you personally consider as a good Cost Per Member (CPL)? 🤔

@Amine Finech We're experts in paid ads and we use paid ads to grow our free community and upsell active members on paid products. There is no better way to grow fast and highly profitable when you've mastered paid traffic :) Of course Organic + Influencer Marketing also appreciatet but that's just not our strength profile

@Allan Hof Sure :)
Feature Requests
- FB Pixel & GA Analytics Tracking for new Members, Leads, Classroom Videos watched, purchase etc. - Enable option to Automatically Approve New Member Requests - See Classroom Video watching & Lesson Progress of Members + Build Segments for Retargeting - Proper Phone Number Form Field for new member requests (right now normal text field is the only option) Other than that, really great experience so far! Love to see these features added soon!
