Because of the classroom, simplicity of the UI, and primarily the asynchronous communication. I really don’t like synchronous group chats. (like discord, WhatsApp, etc) You miss out on 80% of the conversations and get distracted by notifications if you want to see everything. On skool with asynchronous, you can look at posts and comments whenever you want.
Hey guys, I am new here, what's your advice, for the best traffic source to grow a community? Thank you! Any tip is welcome this is my first post ever!
The best thing is to figure out where your ideal client is hanging out. Then I'd create content for that platform (youtube is for most niches a good platform) or do outreach. I've become a big fan of simply reaching out to people who might benefit from joining your community. I've run ads before, and did content, but the reachouts are really effective if done right.
Thought I'd start sharing my Skool journey with you guys here in the community. The lessons I learn. How I build it. How I scale it. Everything. Updated live. Let me know if you like this idea :))
@Max Perzon I definitely will! We can learn a lot from looking at all the different approaches and models on Skool 💪 And who knows, maybe we'll see each other in Las Vegas at the Hormozi HQ after February 😉
I’ve experienced that the worst softwares (in terms of quality and UX) are the ones that try to do too many things. A good example is Systeme.io which (imo) has an awful interface, bugs, etc. But if they add those features step for step then it might work though :)
New to this ? Not really sure how it all works , but I heard people are starting online businesses ? So I’m keen on doing that . I want to help people with mindset . I’ve been playing professional rugby for 13 years . So I believe I know what it takes to achieve high performance. Any advice where I can start ?
Hi Jesse! Sounds like a great plan. To get started, I would recommend checking out 'The Skool Games' which is a challenge and brief course on how to build your community and find clients. You get access to it when you start your 14-day trial. Next to that, I'd definitely check out some of Alex Hormozi his content (he now partially owns Skool). That said, I'd get started by: 1. Making a free community and inviting people with similar goals or interests (like mindset or high performance) 2. You can give free weekly coaching calls, in the beginning, to connect with your community 3. Figuring out how you could effectively help them solve their problem or reach their goals 4. Then create a paid community or high ticket coaching service to upsell your members and start making money 💰
@Jesse Sene-lefao You're welcome! Yes, you could indeed build the community via Skool, since the platform is meant for that. And then you could also ask for a monthly price for your community later on. Here's the link to the Skool Challenge with Alex Hormozi where you can find their beginner course: https://www.skool.com/games And Alex also has amazing free courses here on his website on how to create your unique offer and find potential clients: https://www.acquisition.com/training/offers By the way, if you've got any other questions feel free to send me a DM :)
