318 Comments On Welcome Post In Less Than A Week
Tomorrow will be officially a full week since I launched my new Free community and it's been a lot of fun and personally I think it's been a successful launch. Results: 84 members. 20 Calls Booked - 7 completed, 1 no show, & 12 still to do. 5 amazing posts/comments about the value of those calls from people who just completed the call. 1 person has referred 7 new members after the call. 2 amazing group calls with people connecting. 163 About page visitors - 80 Signups - 49.08% Conversion rate $27 Course sales for Low Ticket/High Value classroom (Get card on file, show what it's like to spend money with me.) Discovery Category: 💰 Business - Rank: #403 772 activities - 804 activities - 407 activities - 423 activities - 435 activities - Today at 221 activities Highlighted Results: - 318 Genuine Comments on the Welcome Post. Genuine meaning real in-depth answers and people engaging back and forth with real comments. We have people sharing looms of their unique skills like hand bending and magic card tricks. - ??? Replies to Auto DM. Honestly, I have lost count and I'm catching up to all of them, but they're giving exactly what I wanted. Real conversations with real answers. I love it so much! - Huge Fan Moment - @Calvin Hollywood joined and I may or may not have called my mom about it. LOL - She was supportive and happy, but like Hollywood on Skool?? - Connected a person I had a call with to another person I had a call with because person #1 is having a great deal on what would benefit person #2. Yay! Things I've learned to change: - Add more dates to booking a call with you. I had it set to only 6 days out and I don't do scheduled calls Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Once I switched to 14 days out, my booked calls increased quickly. - Doing a launch solo means you need to prep things in person for you to be busy in the office. RIP laundry schedule lol I am very happy with this launch of a free community and I am very happy to help everyone. I am going with the flow tho. Things may change a bit here and there, but I just absolutely love Skool as a platform and I'm All In.

@Jenna Ostrye that makes sense. The foundation of the community is connection between others.
What Motivates You? (For Me, It's FEAR)
I'm in this cool group called "free" and one of the members was asking how to sustain the work of having a 9-5 job AND trying to run a business at the same time. I'm going to give a better version of my original answer below: If I was in [member name]'s situation, I would be so motivated by FEAR that I would find a way to hit my targets. Fear has always been my primary motivator. Fear of not being a good provider ... Fear of being stuck in a life where I have to do stuff I hate just so I can pay bills ... Probably not the healthiest thing but its a hell of a motivator. Before I started selling things online, I was a door to door salesman. Fear of rejection was what led me to do a search for "How to sell things on the Internet" in October of 1999. If I hadn't made that one search, we wouldn't be having this conversation. FEAR is still my primary motivator. I'm not driven by money or things. I drive a truck, wear t-shirts, shorts, and allbirds, and work from an Ikea desk in an empty room. I'm driven by freedom ... Which means I'm driven by FEAR of not having options ... Fear of not having autonomy ... My daughter broke her wrist last weekend. We were able to get her treated on a Sunday night on very short notice because I pay an ungodly amount for health insurance. I literally asked to buy the most comprehensive health insurance that exists ...regardless of price. Why? FEAR. I am grateful for my fears. They are my allies. Fear doesn't mean you're weak. Being weak means you're weak. Not acknowledging your fears and doing something about them ...that can make you week. Fear is normal. Turn it into fuel. And combine it with faith. Lock and load. It's Friday. Get some. Frank P.S. Special thanks to all the Homies who took the Sacred Vow. (IYKYK) P.P.S. The lady in this gif looks like she took her adderall in the morning, then got distracted ...forgot she took it ...and took it again.

@Peter Rumszauer absolutely. Motivation can really be broken down into very specific categories. I think Love and Fear would be like the level 2 of intrinsic or extrinsic. Could also be opposite I guess. Additionally, it could be as Maslow wrote about in his “theory of human motivation”.

@Michael McMillon thanks
Seamless Onboarding for New Members
I finally figured it out... I think. I've had a free Skool group for a couple of months, but I let it die down because after the first 2-3 days the activity dropped completely. I'm currently in promo for a challenge and figured I'd use Skool to house everyone who registers. Before the actual event I want people to watch certain videos, add events to calendars etc. I used to think some 8 minute boring video would do the trick. Then I joined Frank Kerns FREE group and saw what I thought was hilariously simple... almost dumb way of onboarding new members. I tried it... and it worked 😂 Simple text, step by step instructions, no long boring videos. My engagement inside still needs work, but the members are a lot more active and doing the things I'd like them to do. I could probably drop 2-3 of the sections, but so far it's being consumed at a great rate. Here's how simple the set up is...

I use a similar technique for new client leads
Google Ads To About Page?
Is this something that will be coming soon? It will be really powerful to be able to run Google ads, (specifically YouTube ads) directly to our about pages, without have to set up the funnels, and email sequences. The Fb pixel integration is amazing and I love it. Is there something similar coming for the Google platform as well? If there is, it’ll be super powerful. Especially for those of us who already have a YouTube channel, free group, and paid group. Imagine being able to run YouTube ads at scale, directly to a free group, without the drop off that occurs when people have to opt into a funnel for a lead magnet, then join the group afterwards. Then being able to run remarketing campaigns to everyone who joined your free group, to get them into the paid.

Can’t you just embed a link into a “click here” on YouTube? I have this on my social media profiles…
New Feature: Delete With Reason
For users, it's frustrating to get your post deleted and not know why. For admins, it's frustrating to have to constantly explain why you're deleting someone's post. So Skool now has "Delete With Reason"! When you delete someone's post or comment you can now select which rule they broke and even give some additional feedback. If you select a reason or give feedback, the user will be emailed (see below). If you don't select a reason or give feedback, the user will not be emailed. Hope this helps.
