what is the driving force? I am well into my retirement years and writing some fiction is one of those things on my bucket list. I had fun doing my first short story recently (just 2,000 words) and would like to write more of those, and maybe work up to a longer story.

Hi all!
Great to be among the 500 first ones here! I'm probably the oldest one here, 79 years. I'm an early bird in the Internet starting already before WWW. It's been an interesting journey. I have published fiction in Finnish. Now I'm working on Horse Ranger, a Western story. I translate the draft into English on the fly. The AI works better with English than in small languages.
