Iโ€™ve been on YouTube for 5 years now And 30k subs (over 2 channels) and thousands of hours spent creating content for the platform + studying the best of the best โ€ฆ โ€ฆ Iโ€™ve begun to notice something glaringly obvious about what works and what doesnโ€™t The process most people use when creating and publishing a video is this - have a cool idea - hit record - edit the video - upload - wonder why itโ€™s not getting views โ€ฆ and then they blindly model someone like Mr Beast as they think โ€œthis is what worksโ€ They completely miss the mark on what makes a great YouTube video for the consumer โ€” and more importantly โฌ‡๏ธ What makes a great YouTube video for the platform their ideal client They key points of leverage for YouTube are - the video getting clicked - the video being viewed - the video being watched in its entirety This is what led me to understand and create a simple, proven process for creating YouTube videos that sometimes get 70x-100x the normal views This is what all the top YouTube creators know And itโ€™s so easy for small YouTube creators to follow so they - increase their subscribers - increase the quality of those subscribers AND - increase the leads they get from YouTube too This is the system โฌ‡๏ธ 1. Brainstorm a good - ideally proven - video idea FIRST You want the idea to help position you as the expert first โ€ฆ and then you want it to either 1. Focus on the DREAM OUTCOME of your ideal client 2. Touch on a big PAIN or PROBLEM your ideal client has If it doesnโ€™t seem like a solid idea, donโ€™t go forward with it This is what the top creators know that the amateurs donโ€™t Amateurs run with any idea The top 1% end it here if the idea isnโ€™t any good โ€ฆ โ€ฆ and they keep working on ideas until they find one โ€” then, they move onto the next step 2. Think of how you could title and thumbnail the video I love using the tool โ€œVidIQโ€ for this It has this โ€œoutlierโ€ feature that shows you current YouTube videos that are outperforming everything else

@Jonathan Dunkerley Yea, it's crazy that - if done right - videos can still get views like 5 years from now. People heavily underestimate how powerful that compounding effect is

got a DM from Kirby ... ... one of my posts got flagged for "shady DM tactics" and trying to sell a $20k offer ... and the other was apparently "engagement farming" ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ both were "how I" posts that met the groups rules one shared how I made $16.5k in 48 hours just from inbound DMs the other shared how some of my members are seeing great success running the free > paid model and optimising for calls or DMs from new free members be careful out there, kiddos it's the wild west this brings me to two things firstly, I am so grateful and thankful for this group @Brian Campbell being able to just share straight value without any fear of reprimand is something I appreciate writing high-value posts daily is a goal of mine - and this community allows me to do that secondly, it brings me to goals --- specifically, to how I learned to set them to knock them down like dominos SMART goals are a thing of the past the new opportunity I've found with "goal setting" is to include ๐Ÿ‘‡ - specific, intentional language - breathwork - identity changes I set this goal less than two months ago "By December 31st, 2024, I receive $20,000 a month" I'm about to tick that off in a 10-day window notice the intentional use of "present" tense language? notice the intentional use of "by" to set the timeframe? psychologically, this works on two different levels the intentional use of "by" creates freedom for the goal to occur anytime between now and the end date this alleviates any stress, pressure, and anxiety we experience and detaches from the HOW and the use of "present" tense language begins to create the experience this goal has already happened to trick here is to use sentence structures beginning with - I am - my business - has example ๐Ÿ‘‡ ... I am a top 10% earner on skool ... my business receives $300,000 a year ... my community has 100 high ticket members we know the brain cannot dissociate between what it imagines and what is real

Some ways Iโ€™ve found to boost engagement in your Skool community. Ask Open Ended Questions: Simple, thoughtful questions encourage members to share their experiences and insights. Try questions like, โ€œWhatโ€™s your biggest win this week?โ€ or โ€œWhat challenge are you facing right now?โ€ Post Consistently: Show up daily or on a regular schedule to build momentum. Consistent posts keep your community active and encourage members to check in frequently. Always add value! Highlight Member Wins: Celebrate milestones and accomplishments of your members. Not only does this build community spirit, but it also motivates others to engage and contribute. Focus on creating value, encouraging interaction, and building a culture where everyone feels seen and heard. Implement these strategies, and watch your Skool community thrive!
