HW#1: Unfiltered feedback welcome 😊
Hey guys! Background: I have a podcast (and therapy practice) for ex-Jehovah's Witnesses and other former cult members, who have a very difficult time integrating into the world after leaving this cult. This is an extension of the podcast. PIMOs PIMIs POMIs etc are acronyms for variations on "physically in, mentally out" (in this example it means they are still attending church but have woken up mentally) The sign off works well on the podcast, but felt a bit cringy for me on video. Curious how it lands for you https://youtu.be/J31OdPKKuNY?si=eKZlDIMJSS3PD8Hw

I loved the casual vibe! What I thought was really cool is when you sat down the moment you were going to make your point. Really made it clear that this was going to be the important piece of information I could not miss ;-)

@Ryan Hagen it definitely made a big difference for me, the contrast between walking & moving around, followed by a steady camera with a more focused eye contact
Hey guys, I'm Alex 👋
Hey guys! I'm Alex. It's a joy connecting with you all. I'm a painter, so I share my understanding and way of life and self through art. My wish is to impact and inspire people through my art, as well as my writings based on that which impacts what and how I paint. The heart of all that is the recognition of the essential being that we are, as well as the integration of that into an ordinary human life with its human challenges, imperfections and limitations. In my understanding we cannot escape our humanity, but we can be lovingly awake to our true nature in the midst of life, moment to moment, no matter how scary, painful or heartbreaking it is. I am here, joining this challenge, in order to improve and refine my way of showing up and reaching out to the world through social media. I definitely have a lot to learn as this is definitely not my strong side. On a related note, I also want more engagement in my posts, and of course be better at materialising it all into sales. It's been a joy to read through your introductions and read your stories and the ways you are showing up in the world, as well as the way you intend to move forward. The world clearly needs people like you. A funfact about me... The bone in my nose is very elastic, so I can squeeze my nose completely flat without any problems or pain😄 Here is a picture of me and my girlfriend, as well as a little painting I made earlier this year.

Cool seeing you here, brother. I really like the painting, do you have a page where you publish your art? Also, funny fun fact

I had this profound bodily 'lock in' of me being the message. I have become who I needed when I was a kid. I am the medicine, I am the one I have been waiting for. It felt as a materialization of what I have always been seeking, a materialization in my own body. I believe this to be the initial spark of a further materialization, out of my body, into the world. Immense gratitude for this container and the amazing value it has provided me, even though I have not even completed day 2 yet. I will forever speak well of your approach Nico. Heartfelt thank you 🙏 And thank you Anastasiya for facilitating the breathwork session.
My video from day one
So much to learn. For me it’s about settling in and stay relaxed and focused instead of consciously focusing on doing all the right things on video. Watch it here

I got value, perspective, inspiration from your video. I could picture your story vividly and feel through it, which I think is already next level. It was a great watch! I don't have anything to add on to what Nico already said above. Maybe the ending. I felt somehow that the tone when you closed off the video clashed with your announcing of people reaching out to know more or see how you can help them. The 'thank you' felt like it had too much sadness in it. So that gave me a sudden drop in energy ;-)
Welcoming feedback on Story telling video
Hi everyone, I woke up this morning with an idea I couldn't detach myself from and felt so much inspiration after a very short night of sleep. Nico, I don't know if it's the "sacred stretch," you playing the harmonica, or something else very powerful that I wasn't aware of before, but anyway... I just checked what the homework was yesterday without the looking at the video, and that's why it's a bit much... But let's see how you feel about it. Every piece of advice is welcome; I love feedback, especially on the progess to be made. This is my first video in English as I usually work in French. I had a lot of fun making it, and that's the best part. I just want to say thank you for all your vibes yesterday, and thank you, Nico, for the great course you put together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUoAhqoARBs All the best, Peace, Andy BTW, if some of you wonder how to find free ressource for you video i've use www.pexel.com it's easy and you can find a tons of stuff.

Hey Andy, good stuff man. Here's my feedback (I will focus on what I would improve): - I feel a lot of energy 'higher up'. Like the message doesn't get enough room to really land. I checked out your videos where you speak in French and funny enough it isn't like that in those videos. Like you said, you're not used to speaking English in your videos, so maybe that's the reason ;-) - Related to this, I felt like your power was full on most of the time. Maybe switch it up a bit by adding more laid back moments, to give off the feel of 'bringing it home'. Other than that I think it was really good man, you're obviously good at this!
