What's Everyone's Training Goals?
I always get inspired hearing about other peoples martial arts journeys! I'm currently working on improving my flexibility and perfecting my basics.

I want to be the example that inspires others to pursue traditional martial arts like so many did for me. I want to be a great teacher and pass on what I have learned to the next generation in sincere hope they take what I give them and bring it to a whole new level!

@Eric Miller I'm glad you touched on diet, as I believe it is an essential and often overlooked part of training. You don't put regular fuel into a super car. You need to use premium for optimal performance
Most memorable video games from childhood
What was the most memorable video game from your childhood? While there are certainly many the one I think back on (and still play) the most was Legend of Zelda Link to the past. That game had so much time in stuff from Nintendo. The Nintendo power spreads as well as a 12 month run of a link to the past comic! The maps, lore expansion and the game itself is a true masterpiece!

What Was Your Inspiration to Start Martial Arts?
Happy Friday! Wanted to throw this out there to see what everyone's experience was. For me, I wanted to become like Goku from DBZ when I was a kid and thats what led to my initial interest in martial arts

For me it was definitely the Ninja Turtles! That went into Jean-Claude Vandamne movies and a whole bunch of action stars. I wanted to be like them! And martial arts is so versatile. You don't have to be a certain size or shape to be a great martial Artist!
Mid-October Training Log
What have i been working on the most lately? Reviewing several older katas/forms that I haven't done in a long time to try to keep them fresh. Interesting things that I've pulled from my practice/training? Any time I go back to older forms (especially ones I have done in awhile), I often find new "stories" or self-defense ideas within them that are different from previous times I've practiced them. What do I plan on practicing next? Since I'm in the midst of restructuring some of my teaching patterns, I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of review on fundamental techniques, forms and weapons to determine the best way to teach others to do it effectively!

I definitely need to start reviewing my Pai Lum forms
Favorite Classic Martial Artist?
My favorite is Jackie Chan. I love the way he gets super creative with his stunts and fight choreography.
