How I Made $30k in 1 Month From Art Sales and How You Can Too
Hey artists! 🌟 I want to share a story with you that I hope will light a fire in you and remind you that anything is possible when you set your mind to it. A while back, I made $30,000 in art sales within a single month, and this is how it happened. My goal wasn’t just a hope; it was a decision. I didn’t just think about it or wish for it, I committed to it. Here's the truth: many artists set goals, but they don’t fully commit. They set a number, then second-guess it, tweak it, or lower it. But if you’re truly serious about hitting a goal, you’ve got to decide on it and commit without a doubt. And here’s a key part: set a goal you believe in. If you don’t believe in it, why would you go all-in? For me, my goal was to make $40,000 in two months. Setting it over two months felt more achievable than one month, and it was a number I could believe in without feeling discouraged if I didn’t hit it immediately. Once I decided, I did three key things: 1. Commit to the goal with total belief. I was part of a mastermind group at the time, which helped boost my belief even more. When I shared my goal on a group Zoom call, I expected people to question it. But nobody did! That moment made me realize, “This is possible.” Speaking your goal out loud to others can be a powerful commitment tool. 3. Write down your “why” and visualize the feeling of achieving it. I wrote down why I wanted this goal and how I’d feel once I achieved it. I wrote it as if it had already happened. This fueled my motivation every day. 2. Create a massive action plan. I planned to go beyond the minimum, doubling the efforts I thought I’d need. If I needed 20 calls to hit my goal, I planned for 40. If I planned for one show, I thought about setting up two. This “massive action” boosted my confidence even more. Funny thing? I didn’t even end up doing all the steps in my plan! My belief was so strong that I was vibrating at a high frequency, fully aligned with my goal, and the sales came in, two paintings, $30,000.- in the first month.

Thank you @Oliver Hojas , I think the main thing I am missing is massive action. Also thank you for the workshop today, very informative.
HAPPY FRIDAY! What was one big WIN this week?
I love this question; my wise business coach Ralph begins every session, asking me this. It forces me to look for the good, even when it was a rough week! :) They say that the feelings of gratitude bring in "good luck" or just good things in general. So the practice of NOTICING the good stuff is important, if you want to draw more good stuff to you. FOR ME: I got a deposit to hold a painting! This was a big one - it's 72" tall and 24" wide, and it's been sitting around for years. It's an awesome piece (photo below) - the collector who bought it loves to pay CASH. He's one of my favorite buyers. October has been really slow for art sales (it always is) and so selling this painting on October 30th saved the month :)

Potential Repeat Buyer
I have some framed art prints @$40 at a local holistic center. I sell at a decent pace there at that price. One of my framed prints sold to a Realtor. She bought it to give to her customer, this customer had just moved in to their home. My Realtor loved my paining, for some reason I ended up texting here in there with her. I asked if she gave the print to her client, she said she did. That her client loved it, and that she also wants one for herself. So, I texted her that I can deliver a 24x30 museum quality gallery wrapped canvas print to her. I did not give here the price (which is $300), but all she said is "Thanks Pete". ======================================== How would you follow up, without being pushy? ======================================== I wrote the story of the painting, and I know she likes the story as well. @Maria Brophy

thanks @Maria Brophy, you are right on point. I think she was confused and all she could say was thanks, ha ah. Since I have to make a thumbnail image of the piece for my website store, I will shoot that over to her. Along with what you shared I should say. Thanks again!
