How I Made $30k in 1 Month From Art Sales and How You Can Too
Hey artists! 🌟 I want to share a story with you that I hope will light a fire in you and remind you that anything is possible when you set your mind to it. A while back, I made $30,000 in art sales within a single month, and this is how it happened. My goal wasn’t just a hope; it was a decision. I didn’t just think about it or wish for it, I committed to it. Here's the truth: many artists set goals, but they don’t fully commit. They set a number, then second-guess it, tweak it, or lower it. But if you’re truly serious about hitting a goal, you’ve got to decide on it and commit without a doubt. And here’s a key part: set a goal you believe in. If you don’t believe in it, why would you go all-in? For me, my goal was to make $40,000 in two months. Setting it over two months felt more achievable than one month, and it was a number I could believe in without feeling discouraged if I didn’t hit it immediately. Once I decided, I did three key things: 1. Commit to the goal with total belief. I was part of a mastermind group at the time, which helped boost my belief even more. When I shared my goal on a group Zoom call, I expected people to question it. But nobody did! That moment made me realize, “This is possible.” Speaking your goal out loud to others can be a powerful commitment tool. 3. Write down your “why” and visualize the feeling of achieving it. I wrote down why I wanted this goal and how I’d feel once I achieved it. I wrote it as if it had already happened. This fueled my motivation every day. 2. Create a massive action plan. I planned to go beyond the minimum, doubling the efforts I thought I’d need. If I needed 20 calls to hit my goal, I planned for 40. If I planned for one show, I thought about setting up two. This “massive action” boosted my confidence even more. Funny thing? I didn’t even end up doing all the steps in my plan! My belief was so strong that I was vibrating at a high frequency, fully aligned with my goal, and the sales came in, two paintings, $30,000.- in the first month.
